I have had this version for quite some time sure this new design looks modern and well polished.
One thing I miss from the old version - the ability to quickly switch between different accounts or profiles.
As it is now, one has to completely log out, then the other person log in. :(
Three Samsung TVs here, recent updates have stopped Deezer working on any of them. Latest stupidity of entering the onscreen code on your phone only makes the TV app bring up a screen inviting you to go to Deezer.Com to subscribe to premium, nothing else. App on phone says no devices linked. Second TV, app loads, goes to play, not a sound, and the dreaded 'an error has occurred' appears. You are continually fiddling and breaking the TV app, which used to work fine. "If it ain't broken, don't fix it..."

I would like to test your app out on Smart-TV I have at parents. It’s their TV, but I could test Deezer on it. Now, this is modern Android tv for 6 years straight and now the smart tv button does not work.
I click it, its only black screen and you can’t even see any app. They had deezer installed etc.
I took two hours of my life to install this TV, I was about to install deezer, until smart tv option broke again. I mean the app works great, but the TV has no update to Android. So it’s no smart tv anymore.
The reinstall of TV made no sense, as smart tv option broke again.
Way to go, it’s made in china!!!

You buy TV for 799 euros not to have dumb tv after six years, bad from PHILIPS.
I guess they’d need new TV to continue using Deezer app, but it’s silly as tv channels run well.

Same here. My tv app used to work great, took a crap about a year ago and now still is terrible. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app and the same error.

The stupid fetch your mobile phone, turn it on log in with the displayed characters EVERY time would be tiresome enough on its own, but all that does is go to a screen that says only “Deezer Premium. Go Limitless. Go on www.deezer.com to subscribe” - nothing else happens, nothing plays on the TV, there are no controls to do anything except exit.
Second TV:
Samsung UE40MU6400 Released 2017 Latest Deezer app version
Identical scenario to that I’ve described above.
Third TV:
Samsung UE40F8000 Released 2013 Deezer app version V3.008
Ironically, this is the TV that we use most for Deezer. It worked happily for years, then a couple of months ago, for about a week, Deezer would not load at all. Then, miraculously, it started working again. That was fine for a week, and since then - I suspect this whole problem coincides with the release of the new version not available for this TV - all loads fine, it starts to play, (though there is no sound) and the dreaded “an error has occurred” appears at the bottom of the screen.
So now the “improvements” made recently have stopped Deezer from playing on ANY of our TVs. When it all worked happily as it was, WHY OH WHY fiddle with it and break it? We don’t have these problems with Spotify, or Amazon Music…..
Hey there @Eqcons and you have an active Deezer subscription? If you don’t you need to first subscribe via pc or mac and then log in your TV

You can use Deezer without a subscription and the error message you receive makes me think that maybe you don’t have an active subscription.
Or your are using the wrong email address to connect? It’s worth trying to update your password and reconnecting.
Are you saying that you can no longer get Deezer on your TV when you only have a free account?
Password is fine. I have no problem logging in on my phone or on TV number 3 above.

Deezer connection is not reliable actually: When playing a song, it sometimes does not load and I need to go to another song and switch back, then the song is played. Since I have the TV in the living room, I need to go there to swap songs, which is cubersome.
This does not happen with Spotify or YouTube TV for the same TV.

2017 smart TV is not even that old tv, yet it becomes useless in one night. So sad.

We too have Smart TV where Deezer app does not work anymore, but it’s 2016 TV, Android TV.
We paid more than casual TV just to enjoy apps, but these worked for 5 years only.
Too sad. We have now Android Smart TV and just watch casual TV channels.
It’s not Deezer to blame, whole Smart TV app section does not open at all.

So I remember once upon a time I got Deezer instead of the competition because my Samsung tv didn't support the competition, but it did support Deezer app, this was several years ago and i neved had any issue with the Deezer app on my Samsung tv. Until 3 weeks ago. Suddenly it stopped working. I unistalled the smart hub and installed everything again and nothing, I tried this several times. It gets stucked at loading screen, sometimes asks me for password and gets stucked again. Now i find out you launched a new app and ruined the one that was working perfectly fine!!!! Everyday I used to wake up and play music on my samsung tv deezer app and now that's impossible. I'm so angry, specially because whyyyyy would you mess up with something that was working perfectly fine!!!! PLEASEEEEE FIX THIS!!!!!
