Google Home in Sweden

So guys at Deezer. Still no news? Strongly consider switching back to Spotify unless this matter is resolved pretty soon.

Sorry, guys @Talisman @SWEFabbe my last reply explains the situation with them. Keep posting your feedback, we won't let it go, but it doesn't depend solely on Deezer.

So sade. Do i have to change to Spotify?

Surely not. But it's Google's device - and they have their own streaming service + another well-known player. In that case, it's difficult to expand and close the gaps with our users. Thank you for your understanding.

I just finished a chat with Deezer support, apperently a contract delay issue with Google and no indication on when this matter can be sorted.

Streaming with the deezer app to my wifi speakers, it is working really poorly with speaker delays and regular speaker cut outs, once asking Google to stream a radio station or something from Spotify it is working without a problem. 

I have been a paying customer with Deezer for many years both in UK and now for two years in Sweden, but I have now cancelled the family subscription and are moving over to either Youtube Premium or Spotify which seem to work.

Thank you for your honest feedback @roffesoder. That's obviously what we didn't want to hear. We want all of our users to be able to use the skill we built for the device - but it isn't only up to us. Thank you for your understanding.

I have now signed up for Spotify to be able to use Google Home in Sweden. I will obviously not have two subscriptions fo so long, so even if I like Deezer better if Google Home is not available I will not keep Deezer.

It’s been a while now! Any official updates from the team at Deezer regarding Google Home support in Sweden?

Any updates on this? I just got my first Google nest device, and now i want to control my music with it. 
They will loose a family subscription when i go to spotify(which is supported). 

4 Years later no google or alexa support… time to move back to spotify soon

I recommend a Sonos system if you prefer speakers with voice control or other similar feature. Seamless integration with deezer and vastly improved sound quality.

Echo speakers + Spotify, you might as well just get an FM radio.

I was planning to move from Spotify.

I have tried many times i Goole HOme to get it to work. Then just to realize that its not supported yet!
Hope you realy fix this because there will be no move for me until you do.

So disappointed in this. I'm trying family plan atm, but if it's not functional with google home, I won't stay passed the free trial month. 

And I've started to hate Spotify (for supporting Trump and investing in drone weaponry - NOT WITH MY MONEY!) so I guess I have to go back to CDs or mp3s or something…

I was really, really hoping for Deezer. 

​@TrotzigS I’m a big fan of CDs, I fortunately saved all of mine over the years and I now listen to them in my car.

I have gradually migrated my entire home system over to Sonos, and while it’s not inexpensive, you can pick them up piece by piece on sale. The sound quality is vastly superior to Google, Alexa, etc., and they are platform-agnostic, so they work exceptionally well with Deezer.

Best of luck with whatever you decide, and I totally understand your feelings about Spotify.
