it would be nice to have more then 1 user in hifi acount .

i use iphone and android and cant listen to music in both at the same time.

i think adding at least one more user would be a good thing .

what do you think?🎼

I would like to have the option for a Hifi family subscription. Or to mark one of the accounts on the family subscription to Deezer Hifi.

Please vote for this super idea here @Estian Strydom

When will it be possible to have family account in Hifi subscription?

Hey @Hififamily

Thanks a lot for your feedback. We don't have a date yet but we're exploring this idea, please make sure you leave your vote above! :v_tone2:

I would definitely buy the option “Deezer Family HiFi”… I wish to have it and share it with my family.

I checked into this two years ago and voted on it.  I am on Tidal, while my S/O and kids are on Deezer Family.  This is a no brainer business wise, but perhaps there are technical difficulties in making this happen.  We (the family) could’ve went all went to Tidal’s Hifi family plan, but due to ease of use, excellent interface, lyrics, etc. I could not convince them to switch to Tidal.  But it won’t take long if I do some A/B tests between regular and hifi.  This should get done immediately.  The lawyers should already be working with the record labels on this since this may take some time to accomplish.  There should be no technical problems that would stand in the way of you making your customers happy.

Thanks for your feedback on this @funkentelechy @alialuc  - we'll pass your comments to the teams looking into this potential subscription :v_tone2:

Qobuz just announced a hifi family plan. 6 users for $24.99. Surprised Deezer still doesn’t have anything to respond to this.

We hear you @jayar  Our teams are working on new offers for the months to come, hopefully this will be one of those.

Have a nice day

Hi, I've been a Google play music subscriber for some years, I've created a premium account for Deezer as Google are moving to YouTube music, I'm not happy with that offering.  After creating my favourites playlist in Deezer and listening to the results on two different systems, it's really clear that the sound is completely different!  The base depth and tonal characteristics are quite flat in Deezer, the sound level is also significantly lower.  Setup 1 Chromecast HDMI connected to Onkyo TX-NR 809 with Large B&W floorstanding speakers + Tel Quake Sub

System 2 Nakamichi surround system, with Google Chromecast Audio, connected with Toslink optical to the amp, Tanoy surround speakers with Panasonic Sub

Will the Hi-fi option have a different sound level ?  Is it possible to change my account and change it back if it's not better.  It's very confusing, I've been happy with 320k MP3 no issues, but the sound levels from Deezer somehow appear to be very low

Hello @Andy Sexton; the sound should definitely be better (I’ll let other users comment for the sake of objectivity as I’m part of the Deezer staff ). I’m not sure about the sound level though. Regarding the devices, have a look to this page that show which one are officially supported for Deezer HiFi. Feel also free to have a look at the topics of the forum and ask the audiophiles out there. Finally, you can indeed switch to HiFi and back to Premium, bear in mind that if you’re currently enjoying a free trial, you’ll lose it if you change your offer.

Have a nice weekend!

Hi, I also would definitely appreciate a “Deezer Family HiFi” option or at least a plan to manage two HiFi subscriptions and am looking forward to your new offers.

Hope you voted above too @sputnix

Thank you for your support and have a great week!

I am hoping with Amazon and Tidal offering HI-FI Family Plans Deezer will follow suit.  I know everyone is probably not interested and that cost is a factor but if Deezer Adds family Hi-FI plans I believe the service will be even better.  I've been with Deezer off and on over the years and not having a family HI-FI plan was one was one of the reasons I left the service.  Over the years Deezer had improved it's product by listing featured artist on tracks, allowing track radio streams, identifying which tracks are explicit and whatnot. Deezer has a good product however adding the HI-FI family plans would make the service even better especially for audiophiles.  Sure a person can always add a separate acct but I'm sure those on family plans would prefer to be billed only once a month vs twice.  Please take my thoughts into consideration.  I know I'm not the only person that uses Deezer that feels this way. HI-FI is definitely a pleasure and enjoyable to listen to.  On a side note I have recommended this service to many others who use the service both paid and free.  Thanks for taking the time to read this.

You're not the only one at all @Keith Miller thank you for your support, please vote above

Hello! I'm just a beginner with Deezer and my Hi-Fi subscription. It seems very strange for me that I can't share my subscription with another user in order we both have the ability to listen Flac music thru my subscription.

Hi-Fi is the only thing that make me choose Deezer vs Spotify, but I want to use it with my family.

Are there any plans to implement this feature and how soon? It becomes more and more annoying.

Thanks,

Artem.

Hello @art-gruzdev, as you can see in this conversation where i’ve moved your message, it’s something many users are asking for. Our teams are currently working on new offers, and we’ve of course let them know about your expectations regarding this. We’ll let you know on this topic once we have more information.

Have a nice week

Hope to get it soon...

Mr. Deezer,

I have been a Premium and Hi Fi subscription member of Deezer since 2014!

It is simply unacceptable that I cannot add another user to my subscription at same Hi Fi level (not Premium or lower or whatever you have pitched in the past).

Outrageously unfair and poor business practice to try to stick long time subscribers as well as everyone else on this long string with having to pay for a separate Deezer Hi Fi subscription just to add another user…...why can’t I just do this by converting or modifying my subscription to a Family Hi Fi with one additional user/family member/significant other/friend?

You are have consistently billed me $240 a year for this single license subscription over the last 6 years

Is this about the music and keeping loyal subscribers or just squeezing every possible penny out of all of Deezer’s active loyal subscribers by charging full freight ($240 per year) while steadfastly and unreasonably dragging your heels and/or flat out refusing to grant them what by any objective measure would be an eminently fair/reasonable accommodation,, to wit, allowing them to immediately go on to their account page(s) and click a button to convert/modify their current single user (restricted) HI-Fi subscriptions to a multi- user/family Hi-Fi subscription plan charged at a discounted rate based on the number of add on users they designate…...which I guess under the Family plan currently is 1-6 additional users????

While the current Hi Fi marketing ploy handing out Hi Fi initial subscriptions for $180 per year no doubt is bringing in new subscribers ( an “initial” hook that in fine print no doubt expires after first year and it bounced up to full freight $240 per year thereafter)…...what your website and advertising pitch do not disclose as clearly as it should be from a legal perspective (I am a plaintiff’s lawyer in San Francisco) is precisely what is at issue in this very long and years old thread authored by scores of fellow loyal/active Hi Fi subscribers (indeed your core top tier customers/patrons), to with, that unless they cut a deal with Deezer up front such that their HI-Fi subscription plan allows them to grant independent access 1-6 additional users they will end up in the same boat as the rest of us here after the fact and you will have even more disgruntled customers/patrons.

Please do the right thing, especially now in this COVID world we are all struggling to be by in and immediately get your IT folks working to set up the procedure for all active/current Hi-Fi subscribers to modify/upgrade their plans to multi-user/Family plans at a reasonable discounted price per add on user depending on how many they want to add (up to 6 additional users a la current Family subscription plan if that makes it easier and gets this done in the very near future).

You run a top notch streaming service…….time to start rewarding your loyal active top tier subscribers as set forth above…….and ASAP.

Your anticipated prompt and courteous compliance with this objectively modest and exceedingly reasonable requested and long over due accommodation is greatly appreciated.

Hi @fryco , we don'tt have Family HiFi yet, you would have to choose one other another :)
Andrew has suggested this above and hopefully our devs can make it available soon!

“soon” → 2 years later, still nothing :(

Hey @ceasf1 @J-O @D'ArtX

Thank you for your support and for your patience. These things take quite some time, but our teams have been discussing this with labels and distributors. It's quite hard to say when we'll have more updates but I can confirm we're actively trying to find a solution to allow HiFi playback in our other subscriptions in the near future. Stay tuned :v_tone2:

Hi, just wanted to see what the status is on this.  I have some family coming over from Google Music now that it’s shutting down and would love for the ability to have HiFi and the family plan at the same time.

I think labels and distributors won’t disagree if they already agreed with Tidal, Qobuz and next ones.

Our content and offer is very different from other platforms @walker

At the moment we're considering some interesting options but there's more work to be done before we can give you more details
