Deezer Family and HiFi subscription

Brilliant!! I would definitely subscribe to that!!
I would like to play FLAC on my Yamaha amp and have family accounts.

Deezer, I have 1 hifi subscription.

I am with Deezer due to flow and sound quality.

Now I need another account for a family member.

I can't do this.

So I created a playlist for the family member to add songs.

But the more that is added and listened to, the more flow becomes unusable.

If the flow is wrong and random to me, why am I with Deezer? I don't want to to downgrade to premium+.

So I don't know how many users you have with elite hifi (which does not sound like many as you are not developing a family account) but if you are serious about growing this side of your business then you must integrate this like premium plus.

If you do not , you will lose subscribers as no one wants to downgrade unless it's a financial thing.

I don't want to downgrade music quality just for another account and if I have to downgrade better I go to a competitor... That's the logic.

If it's usage data you are worried about.. I am sure you could add usage limits which master account can set for each account.

That way master account is responsible for usage on sub account.

Whatever the solution it is needed and urgently. Keep your competitive edge Deezer.

I know there aren't Family HiFi plans. I want to add my wife to Deezer as a Premium member. How can I do that, and is any discount available for combining our 2 plans as a Family? Otherwise, why switch her? What is the best price you can give for this? I want to remain HiFi.

Hi @jerrysander, in the streaming services like us we can't change prices as everything envolves record labels, artists and it's not only up to us. Unfortunately I won't be able to offer you any discount, but I will pass your feedback on to the right team 😉

I would I think this would actually be easy to negotiate as you could provide a slight discount for people who have HiFi subscriptions and have people who live in the same house whom they want to put on a family plan with a regular subscription or premium. Even a slight difference in price would result in more subscribers for you. Right now we have no incentive beyond having her continue to listen to Spotify or Amazon Prime music.

Hi - currently a Deezer Premium
user wanting to change to Family. Problem is I know that Sonos only allows one login from Deezer and my wife and I use Deezer on the Sonos rather a lot. I want to know practically how this would work if we both wanted to use Sonos. Can we both be logged into the master Deezer account just to play the Sonos? What do people do?

@faybay I moved your post to this existing idea. It's not possible to listen on one sonos device with two different or the same deezer account. Please vote for this idea so that our developers can see how urgent this is 🙂

We don't have Family HiFi plan yet, but please, vote for this topic, we are passing it on to our devs 🙂

Just cancelled my Apple Music and Google Music family plans due to their embrace of censorship. Came here to upgrade my hifi account to family and can't believe that's not an option. Deezer, you're leaving money on the table here.
