Please up-vote if you are a music enthusiast, who has a large albums collection that is hard to be navigated.
Many of us would love to group albums according to genres, sub-genres or moods .. etc.
It might be difficult to add the genre tag (also not so beneficial), but I guess it's relatively easy to give us the ability to make groups specified by the user.

I find it almost impossible to manage my 1531 albums without proper sorting...
pretty much as I do with my own collection of CDs.:)

I don't want to ask here for personal tagging (genre, mood and so on). That happened so far in other threads.
Rather than that let me ask for a simple feature that uses the information the deezers catalogue anyway have: date and artist!
Feature request is:
I would like not only to sort the album list by original release date but especially would like also to group the albums by date and artist.
Some examples:
Grouping by artist and sorting by release date gives you a list of all artist and opening an artists node shows you the releases in order of release date.
That would make managment of albums much easier without putting much effort in more complex features.
Deezer really needs to step up their game with regard to library structure, but I think their focus is on the automated FLOW playlists.
I am totally fine with favourite artist and tracks being independent from albums. They should stay what they are. On the other hand it is the albums tab that needs more love. Actually it is the place where i want to build up my collection.
Grouping by date and artist would indeed be the the first step. But just that would make handling of a big album collection much easier. just imagine what possibilities you have by combining grouping and sorting of albums.
so let's hope.

Anything to allow albums to be grouped, rather than just favourited, would be great. I want to keep track of actual favourites, but also albums that I want to try, have been recommended, etc. At the moment there’s a 1000 album limit in favourites. Maybe allowing playlists of albums as well as tracks would address this?

This feature was available in early Deezer version, I remember sorting my collection until around late 2012 or so. I also begged multiple times to have this option back… :(
We're working towards new ways to make our UX better@Andrea Borga rest assured there's lots going on in the background and hopefully you'll be happy with the results

Hi@Hokutorion , I know I'm late, but I wanted to let you know that we've seen your idea and passed it on as feedback to the team, hence the status "Discussion On Going" now 
I hope that this can be implemented in the future 
this topic started about 5 years ago and it seems nothing as happened regarding making it possible for people categorize their album collection by genre. Why hasn’t this happened? Surely it’s possible. Funny this hasn’t happened, don’t you agree?
