On Spotify, switching between frequently used accounts is two clicks.

 

For parents, playing music or audio books for their kids on Bluetooth devices (very common scenario) this is very useful.

If you mix your toddlers account with yours, your suggestions and "keep listening" feature turns bad.

So the idea is: If I am logged in, I can log in to a second/third account and switch between them with just a few (preferably two) clicks.

Yes this is very much wanted by parents! If your kid asks you to play a song you want to be able to switch accounts fast. 

`especially when in the car! this should even be a CarPlay availible control. We have a family account with 6 profiles and I switch accounts all the time. 

An iOS shortcut would do the trick too!

Please make it easier. It used to be simple. Now I have to:

  • click my own profile picture
  • click the settings cog
  • click “Members” under “Deezer Family”
  • click my kids profile name
  • click “Yes” to confirm

That is 5 (FIVE!) clicks!

Have your UX designers optimize that. I would aim at a single click. Or maybe two clicks. One for confirmation, although I think a user should be able to choose “Always switch without prompting for confirmation”, or something like that.
