Instead of entering username and (a very long and awkward to type in) password, scan a QR code from desktop deezer. Obviously the QR code should decode into an one time password.

Hi @veteran joyride,

May I ask, why not use Apple’s own password app in iOS? I’m using Apple’s password app on my iPhone, iPad and Windows pc. Than it doesn’t matter how difficult your password is.

Hi @veteran joyride,

May I ask, why not use Apple’s own password app in iOS? I’m using Apple’s password app on my iPhone, iPad and Windows pc. Than it doesn’t matter how difficult your password is.

I’m not familiar with how things are done in the Mac world (I’ve added iOS label only for completeness sake). My main platform is Linux (was Win 10 before its demise). I’m synchronising secrets with KeePassXC. Yes indeed, the secret is in my vault, and that’s how I signed in. But the procedure involves me finding my keys, fidgeting with the YubiKey on the key chain, swapping keyboard layouts, unlocking the vault and finding the record. Granted, all tiny steps. But they pile up.
