Hello @Lazar Milenkovic, try it from your computer instead, we do have issues with the upload of pictures on mobiles.

Sorry about the inconvenience

Has this issue been fixed? I am facing the same problem i.e. Unable to upload image for playlist via Android mobile. Uploading image via mobile seems to be a basic thing for most apps.

It has been over a year now based on this thread and others too...

Yes @williamwoon

What version of our app do you have? Please reinstall the app and restart your device :relaxed:

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to you too Rudi. I have updated the app just a moment ago and still experience the same problem i.e. I am still not able to change the playlist image. FYI I'm on the beta tester version of the app.

Thanks a lot for coming back, buddy @williamwoon is that 6.2.18? I'll forward your comments to your devs to see if there's something in the pipeline, I believe we've started working on this already.

I'm going to double-check this with our Android devs, @williamwoon, to see if this is intended behaviour. I was under the impression we've made some improvements to the playlist creation feature which would incorporate this. Thank you for your patience!

I started to having this issue a few weeks ago and it wont go away after the last update. I see here now people having this problem for years and support keep advising unuseful things which anybody think of at the first place like reinstalling the app or so.

Please work on this and come up with a solution.

Hello @bardamu we are aware of the problems as users reported at the same time you started with this issue.
Our developers have managed to fix it for iOS already and they are working on a permanent fix for Android users as well.
Apologies for all the inconvenience and thanks for your patience.

Thanks for replying @Jaime. I know you’ve already said the fix isn’t ready for Android yet, but I’d like to share my info, maybe it will be of some help.

  • Android: version 6.0
  • Resolution: 720x1280
  • Deezer: version 7.0.6.46, latest available.
  • Plan: Family.
  • Android System WebView: version 102.0.5005.125, latest available (if relevant. I suspect about this one, maybe?).
  • Issue: No images. I mean, not just custom images but ANY images.(profiles, covers, custom images, podacasts, favorites, artists, downloads, etc...). Just plain colors appear (Flow gradient, categories background colors).

On Deezer Desktop (Windows) I have no problem  with latest and previous versions (5.30.250, 5.30.270).

I hope this is useful somehow.

@metafaniel

Yes, it’s a known problem that the latest version of Android app doesn’t work like it should with Android 6.

The team is investigating it.
