Vodacom subscription isn't active

I have been paying my subscription via my Vodacom/Vodafone account (for months now) after signing up for the premium Deezer account from the Deezer mobile app and selecting the option to add it to my Vodacom bill. Unfortunately my Deezer account on my mobile app still shows that I am on the free version and I still can't use the premium service options. Please help. Vodacom can't help me.

Hi @Rocco, have you checked with Vodacom if Deezer was successfully added to your plan? If that's the case, you can send your mobile number to us here and we will check what's wrong 🙂

By mistake I double subscribed, through apple and then through my vodacom account. I cancelled the subscription through apple but now Deezer is saying I have no account subscription how do I sort this out ?

Hey Cath, it's not possible to have two different subscriptions on the same account, so it's likely that you have two Deezer accounts - one where you subscribed via itunes and a second one where your vodacom subscription is active. Usually, for the vodacom subscription, you would need to login with your phone number, not with your email. Can you give that a try? If it doesn't work, pllease contact our support on this link and they'll check what's happening with your your subscription, ok? 🙂
Hi, I use my network provider (Vodacom South Africa) to pay for my Deezer subscription. I paid for the subcription but it shows that I'm on freemode. Please help.

Hi there, I've checked and the account is still linked to vodacom but the subscription itself was cancelled by vodacom. Please contact them directly as only they will be able to activate it again 🙂
I have my deezer account subscribed through my Vodacom account but it still asks me to subscribe then when I try to subscribe again through my Vodacom account it says I am already subscribed, but I'm not. Please help

I pay my subscription using my vodacom account. But it keeps defaulting and logging me out saying that there is a connection issue even though I've paid my account. Anyone have any ideas??

Hi there, I've checked and your Deezer account is linked to your Vodacom number correctly, but the subscription itself isn't active. Only Vodacom can do this activation, so please contact them directly and they'll be able to help you this 🙂
ifi it says i'm on free mode does that mwan i'm unsubscribed and doen have to pay my deezer account if idont want to continue withthe service

@Johan Schwarzer you don't seem to be subscribed, but if you want to double check about any charges you need to contact Vodacom as your subscription was through them 😉

I am a vodacom customer and have a vodacom deal with Deezer but now I am on free subscription and can't do anything on the app.

@Quentin Thomas in this case you need to speak directly with Vodacom as they are the ones who managed your subscription, ok? 🙂
My premium subscription has been downgraded to a free subscription. I attempted to resubscribe using the vodacom optionthat I have used in the past but the connection either times out, or the screen freezes with a blank white box in the middle. Assistance would be immensely appreciated

@Wankumbu in this case, you need to contact vodacom, they are responsible for this subscriptions 🙂

I have the same issues as members above. I have Deezer through Vodacom on the family subscription. For some reason it was suddenly deactivated and changed to free. I have contacted them and they have reactivated it from their side - but yet still says free and I cant download anything with subscribing? I have logged out a number of times and nothing changes. How long does it take to recognise the subscription activation on Deezer side?

Hey @Sam Shallcross I've checked here and your number is linked to your account normally, but the subscription isn't active, so you need to double check with vodacom everything really is ok as only them can do this activation.
Hi Anna, I checked with Vodacom and they weren't able to activate it due some technical issue. They logged a fault, but I haven't heard back from them. I then had to connect via my credit card so my son who was away at the time could access Deezer. I need to take it off my card and back on to Vodacom - how do I do that? And also i see my account is currently on normal premium but I would like to make sure its on family.

Hi Sam, I cancelled the free trial now so that it won't renew at the end of the period 🙂 Please note that the even if vodacom will sort it out now, you probably won't be able to link it to your account again. But you need to wait until the free trial ended. Otherwise you can always get in touch with our CS Team here and they can immediately end the current trial so that you can relink the vodacom one 🙂
I have paid and funds were debited from my Vodacom prepaid airtime from [removed to protect personal details] but still my subscription hasn't changed for the second month in a row, you are scammers and would rather use apple music, never experienced such bullshit with them

@Ontondahosiphojr I moved your comment to this topic. Are you sure the subscription is correctly linked to the account you're currently logged in? If so, please get in touch with Vodacom directly. Only they can activate your subscription again. If it's still linked to your Deezer account, the account itself will upgrade as soon as vodacom has successfully activated the subscription 🙂

Thanks for the advise, will get in touch with them again. When I spoke to them earlier this week they said I had to uninstall and then reinstall my Deezer as it wasn't showing any connection on their side. I was worried about doing that as I didn't want to take the risk of losing all downloads. Will sort it out with them tomorrow.
