Upgraded to Family and got charged twice on the same month


After upgrading from premium account to family account i hav been charged twice. Once for premium and once for family.

Hi Julian! ☺ This is actually stated on the Family offer page .

Family is a new offer and can't be lined up with another subscription type but it was activated immediately. But the previous subscription was cancelled automatically when your subscribed to Family, so you will only be charged once a month in the future 😉
But you can contact our support directly here and they're happy to check if there's something we can do regarding the last payments 🙂

I had deezer premium and I wanted family pack why can't I just be charged the 5 dollars difference instead of paying another 14.99

@Rafael My subscribtion was billed on the 23rd and I switched to familly only a few days after thinking I would be credited for the balance of the previous subscribtion. How can I get this adjusted as I have paid twice?

I wanted to sign up for deezer family but accidently paid for deezer premium at £9.99 then was charged £14.99 for deezer family straight away. How do I get the £9.99 back?

Hi @snapey sorry about that. That is just how our system works, you have been advised that you are charged immediately at the moment of payment. Please contact our support, they will see what they can do 😉
I've been a premium member for 2 years which I pay for monthly on 21st of the month @ £9.99.Yesterday 29th September I decided to change to family member & you've withdrawn £14.99 straight away when it's not due until 21st October?? Surely as a long standing member you're not going to charge me twice for a period of membership???

Hi @mianubi You just need to activate Family here: http://www.deezer.com/de/offers/family, that is all.

You might be charged for Premium as well and Family, please see above how to get a refund through our support team 😉
I have had before deezer family then I accidentaly( while I was changing paying method) switched to premium. I want to go back to family but I dont know how?? Please advice what to do. I dont want to lose my playing lists. Deezer offers me only to subscribe to premium again. I am afraid if I get back ro free version before changing ti family I will lose all my songs.

i have a family account, but on top of that i got charged a second time for a single user account (9,99€).

Can I get a refund of 9,99€ ASAP please? Also please make sure this doesn’t happen again.

Recently updated my new bank details- my account was set in family mode. When updating, Deezer took £9.99 and then £14.99 on top of this for the family mode. Surely this can’t be right? £24.99!? Any help would be much appreciated

I upgraded my account to a family account a couple of days ago, and today when I check my invoices I have received two of them, one for 99kr (old single account) and 149kr (family account). I should only have to pay the family account invoice, but how can I get in touch with Deezer to have them cancel the one for 99kr?

I paid for a monthly individual subscription, and a day later chose to upgrade to Family

The payment history looks like this:

  • Deezer Family
  • $14.99
  • 30/03/18
  • Deezer Premium+
  • $9.99
  • 29/03/18
I believe I should only have been charged $4.99 for the upgrade

Can I receive a refund for the difference?

By the way, I'm still being shown modals which encourage me to upgrade - which, given the annoyance in regard to this payment, is not good.

Hey there, it's not possible to have two different subscriptions on the same account or two accounts with the same email, so you actually have two different accounts with different email address one with the Premium+ subscription and another with the Family. I've sent you a private message with the details I found 😉
Hey i‘m from Germany but i dont know Who i should contact. I have Two payments for Deezer + and Deezer Family and only one e-Mail Adresse. I have to pay both and cant quit the one i dont Need.
