Spotify in North Macedonia

Hi,

Although you probably already know, Spotify started offering its service in North Macedonia and other Balkan countries.

What is interesting though, is that their prices for the plans. It looks like that they are 25% lower than Deezer’s equivalent plans. They even offered a Duo plan for two accounts.

Although on one hand this may be temporary and they may decide to level the prices after a promotional period, on the other hand they might be taking into consideration the economical status of the region compared to the rest of Europe.

Annual Family Plan might be a good idea, but a price reduction could also be an idea for customer retention and to avoid membership transfer.

I have chosen to stay loyal to Deezer.

Hello @Radoslav Galic, thanks a lot for your support, it’s very much appreciated  What would you consider a reasonable price for your country?

I can confirm that Spotify launched in Balkan countries with the price of €4.99 for the personal plan, and family plan for €7.99. Apple Music has the same prices here.

Much cheaper than Deezer. I know tons of people switching from Deezer to Spotify just because of the price! I will stick to Deezer but it's hard to recommend it to other people when Spotify/Apple Music have a much bigger brand and cheaper prices.
