I strayed. I quit Deezer to try Spotify again for 3 months. Deezer is much better and I want to come back!

Before I was a hifi user. So I would prefer to be a hifi user again. I can get a year hifi sub for €135 using an old link Deezer sent me.

But then it seems Deezer is rolling out hifi quality to the premium plan for a small price increase. Will this be to all territories eventually. Germany always was one of the first countries to get new features, but no signs of it here yet.

Basically, I'm happy to subscribe to premium for a year (€89) if my plan will also be upgraded to the "new premium" once/if it comes to Germany. So what happens if I take out a yearly premium plan and Deezer changes the monthly premium plan in January to include hifi quality tracks? Do I get that upgrade to?

I'm partly trying to avoid the price increase on monthly/annual plans. But also, I don't want to pay extra for something (hifi annual) if hifi tracks thennl get included in the lower tier premium in the coming months.

Hope for some clarity here!

Hey @evel79

It has not yet been determined when Germany will switch to the new subscriptions.
Believe me: I ask regularly. :cowboy:

There is also a German-speaking Deezer community:

Hi.

You should probably go hifi from that link for 135 euros.

The Hifi in euros is 10,99 euros, not 9,99 euros. This changed in Finland once Premium was Hifi also.

So 10,99 * 12 is almost 135 anyway. 131,88 euros.

You pay more 3,12 euros only for hifi, but only if you are happy with product.

Year payment is no refund and you are promised to use deezer 12 mo.

If you buy premium now annual, it will include Hifi probably, but you will get notice about price increase whhen Dezzer wll update in Germany to hifi included model. I looked it for you.

In Finland annual hifi premium is 98,90 euros.

When annual premium was no hifi premium, it was annually much cheaper. Like 89 euros.

Even less before that.

Since loved Germany is EU just as we are, you’ll see price increase notice, however if you bought today Premium for 89,90, you’ll get no notice until the very end of your running plan.

Assuming they will give you hifi Update in your country very soon.

@evel79 I’m in the same spot, but in the US, waiting to hear about an upgrade so I can decide on booking an annual plan. In the meantime, I am just doing a monthly hifi subscription. I’m confident we will hear something soon, maybe after the first of the year. Either way, I’m enjoying my deezer subscription now. :punch_tone1:

@hpguru  an annual premium sub is still €89 here. Has been for a long time.

Funny thing is deezer emailed me a black friday offer today after i posted this. €89 for a year. Which seemed a bit wierd to me since that's the normal price - or so I thought. Makes more sense in the context of a price increase.

Funnily enough I was considering Tidal since they also reduced their prices to €9.99 for their hifi tier. Glad to see Deezer responding a lot more quickly than usual.

When your Premium will come with Hifi, they will send a note about price increase.

Its what happened here so this is why you still run 89 euros annual,

once they get hifi included, it will rain.

Id recommend to get 89 year now, because one day it will be 98 a year annually.
Its still not clear if they will let you use hifi when available, many reported it’s only after their annual runs out, so you’ll get hifi included. Either way you’ll lose some money anyway.
