Hello ! I got the following email from Deezer. I never asked to change my password or my email. How do I get my account back?

I think someone hacked my account and changed my email and password . How do i stop that ?
So a few weeks ago my acount change name and e-mail a passwords without my request, my only way to use Deezer is connecting by my facebook

Now the "other guy" is using my account therefore I cannot use it pls I need help ASAP

Hi Nicolas, please get in touch with our support team here and send the account's details you can find on the settings > my accounts. Our support can change the email and then you just need to change your password. Once your email is right again, please change your facebook's password too!

Hi @Didou752, I removed all devices and unlinked your google account too. Please change your password, including your google one.
Recently I have got notification that my email address has been changed. I can still enter my account which shows correct email address, but my premium subscription is now not shown although it is still valid in AppleID. I also lost all my favoried track records.

It seems that the account you have now has just been created and it isn't the account where your favourites were stored.

Please get in touch with our support team here, with a proof of purchase and they can help you restore the original account 😉

I was a recent victim of Deezer account being compromised. Someone has gained access to my account and changed everything including the email address and password. All my devices got logged out instantaneously. The worst part, Deezer did not confirm the changes thru the registered email on my account before applying the changes. It all happened in less than 5 minutes. And I just received an email that the perpetrator was indeed successful in taking over my account.

I emailed Deezer Support and provided a receipt of ownership but 24 hours has passed and I still do not have my account back because after I have proved my ownership, I never received a response. I'm frankly disappointed in Deezer's lackluster take on account security as well as their support. Thinking of changing service because of this to be honest.

It seems as though someone has veeb using my account, because my last.fm has been scrobbling strange music I have never listened, my music history on deezer also has these problems, and playlists I have NEVER made are showing up sometimes. I even went to settings to see if there was a strange device connected to my account but nothing besides my cellphone shows up. Also, sometime ago Deezer kept stopping my plays because it used to say I was playing music in another device at the same time. But when looking at my settings nothing showed up. What do I do?

I've unlinked all devices from your account and also your social media logins. Please follow the password reset email I've sent you and change your password. Then login using email address and not social media. You shouldn't have any more problems but let me know 😉

Yeah, went to my email, changed my password, but nothing happened. Last.fm is still scrobbling tracks I never listened to, and Deezer is showing recent stuff I have never listened to as well.....

Ok, this is weird. Went to Connected Apps and there was a Chromecast application connected to my account - and I don't even have a Chromecast. Deleted that app from my account just now, let's see how it goes. My language was also changed from my mother language to another I can't even type!! Also, my gender was changed to male and albums I have never seen have been added to my account. Wtf. Will leave at that for now and see how it goes.

Yeah, it's the same. This person has connected their Chromecast to my account AGAIN and they are still listening to a bunch of weird stuff. It's getting tiring you know, getting music I never even heard of in my life added to my library. This sucks big time. I don't know what to do anymore. Is there a way to like reset my account totally, delete it and get it back again with the same email, something like that?

Have you used your email and password to login, instead of social media logins? Please also check if your antivirus is up-to-date.
In the meantime, I've unlinked all devices again but I need you to set up a stronger password this time. There's no way to reset your account, I'm afraid. But you could create another one and cancel your subscription on the current one.

I think I did. In anyway, I deleted my account and created another email with a totally new password to reactivate my subscription. The thing is, I can't delete this account!!! I ask in settings for you guys to send me another email to confirm deletion and it never comes. I've waited, pressed F5 so many times, waited some more, tried it again. It's not in the spam category, that I'm sure. What can I do? I just want to keep it in another account, argh. This is so hard.
My listening history proves someone is using my account. I changed password and unlinked their device but it's returned and they're still using it
