Probably that your account is Premium with additional HiFi streaming now.

How do I let them know I don’t want this coz I never asked for it

 Hello Gadimus,

Deezer is in the process of upgrading premium subscriptions to hifi for subscribers, as hifi streaming is becoming the standard for music services everywhere. They are doing so with only a nominal increase in cost to subscribers, all while maintaining a feature set that meets or exceeds the other guys.

I am personally a huge fan of the hifi quality that deezer provides; perhaps give the hifi tier a chance and see if it represents the same value to you that it does for all of the other hifi subscribers.

Hey @Gadimus We have adjusted our prices in South Africa. We have taken the decision to give all of our subscribers in your country automatic access to HiFi quality music. This gives consumers much more value for money, while making sure that rights holders are paid appropriately for the music.
