Hello @asa.adhiyaksa In our system I can see that you activated Deezer Premium via the iTunes store (Apple). Unfortunately, Deezer HiFi isn't available via the iTunes store, so you need to first cancel your Premium subscription and wait for it to expire. For security reasons Apple (iTunes) doesn’t allow us access to your iTunes account, so it can’t be cancelled from our end.

Please follow these steps to cancel your Premium subscription on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch:

  • Go to Settings > iTunes & App Store
  • Tap your Apple ID at the top of the screen
  • Tap View Apple ID. You might need to sign in or use Touch ID
  • Tap Subscriptions
  • Tap the Deezer subscription
  • If you don't see a subscription but are still being charged, make sure that you're signed in with the correct Apple ID
  • Use the options to cancel your subscription. Please check the date of when your current Premium month expires

Afterwards, subscribe to Deezer Hifi with the same Deezer account. No worries, all your music is safe in our system

Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Hi Colin, I've checked here and you're subscribed via iTunes, right? Payment via iTunes isn't accepted for HiFi subscriptions, so this is why your upgrade isn't working. You need to cancel your current subscription and then subscribe again to HiFi after your Premium expires.
  1. I have premium+ subsribction visible on my apple account, but deezer app says i'm still on free plan.
  2. How i can upgrade to hifi via iphone app

Hi there, HiFi isn't available via iTunes, so you need to first cancel that subscription, wait for it to expire and then subscribe directly on this link - http://www.deezer.com/en/offers/hifi 🙂

Hi @Henrik Brisson, you subscribe via iTunes, please see above 🙂
This is the message i get when I try to upgrade to the Hi Fi stream.
"We are sorry, but you are not eligible for this offer".

Hi there 🙂 The reason for this is your current subscription. Since you've subscribed through Itunes, you can't just switch. You need to cancel your current one via Itunes and wait for it to end. As soon as your account is on free, you'll be able to get HiFi 🙂

I am in my first month of Deezer, attempting to evaluate it against other streaming services, and I need to pay to upgrade from Premium to Hi Fi. I am told via on-screen messaging, "You are not approved to upgrade to this at this time". Nonsense. I want to UPGRADE not CANCEL. Please Deezer customer service, that I have already praised in another service's customer service thread, help me out. I want to settle on the best service for my needs, given my limits of equipment anNd domestic bliss.

Hi @Tom Fowler, this is happening because you are currently paying to iTunes and they don't have our HiFi subscription. You need to cancel your current subscription with iTunes, wait until it's back to Free and then subscribe to HiFi directly to us 🙂
Hi there,

I am trying to upgrade my premium subscription to HiFi and it says I am not eligible to receive this offer and I am unable to upgrade.

Can anyone give me some advice?

@jonjayal I merged your post into this topic. Please check the answer on the fist post on top 🙂

I was trying to sign up for Deezer, but created a “Premium” account.  I was hoping to set up a HiFi account.  I get an error message when I try to subscribe to HiFi.  I found a thread suggesting that I would be able to unsubscribe from Premium and then subscribe to Hifi.  I unsubscribed from Premium, but when I try to subscribe for HiFi, I am being told that my email address is already associated to an account (which would be my premium account), so I cannot create a HiFi account.

How can i upgrade to HiFi?

Hi @Nsaylor580 Happy New Year

In our system I can see that you activated Deezer Premium via the iTunes store (Apple). Unfortunately, Deezer HiFi isn't available via the iTunes store, so you need to first cancel that subscription, wait for it to expire on 31/03/2020 and then subscribe directly with us by opening this link on a computer or laptop: http://www.deezer.com/en/offers/hifi

In case you don’t want to wait, you could create a new Deezer account, subscribe to Deezer Hifi and we help you transfer your music to the new account.

Please make sure your Premium subscription is cancelled (here is explained how)

I would like to upgrade to Deezer HiFi. Although I canceled the subsciption at the iTunes store I cannot upgrade it. Please help me in this matter. Thank you.
