Deezer playing in another device but its not, I'm the only user with a device


When I try to play anything it cuts out and I get a message saying my deezer account is in listening mode on another device. I am the only one using it tho and my phone is the only device connected to my account. I’ve already change my password but it persists.

Hi @DaltonPM 

 

Please do the following in the exact order:-
make sure you're connected to a wifi network
log out of Deezer
uninstall Deezer
clean your phone's cache
remove the SD card (if you have one)
turn off your phone
turn on your phone
reinstall Deezer
Log in to Deezer
open Deezer and download at least one album or playlist
reinsert the SD card (if you have one)

Hey @Denise de Assis I have closed session in all devices where the account could be open and I sent you a password request link to your email. Please click on the link, enter a new password and let me know if that fix the problem.

My account also has this bug even though in the Devices menu in setting only show one device, the one I'm holding.

Same problem, have followed steps and have reset password. Problem remains and keeps logging me.out. only my device appears in devices

Same issue here, I don’t use Deezer on my phone only a google home mini and through a browser on my Mac. I’ve deleted all the apps in settings and still get the issue.

Hi @ParkMusic I am sorry to hear that.
I have done one extra adjustment in your account and close session in all devices where your account could have been opened. I also sent you a password reset via email. 
I know that you already reset your password, however I’ll need you to click on that link I sent and proceed to reset your password again.
After that login again and that should fix the problem.

Got this problem too.

 

And my recently played keeps updating to all this stuff I don't listen to....though I'm the only one who uses it.

 

Have uninstall, cleared caches, changed password...where is this phantom music being played?

@MattM @lugosi337 @Dazzzpresh I have unlinked devices from the account and logged out all devices where your Deezer account might be open. I have also sent you an email with a link to reset your password. Could you follow those steps and then inform me if the problem persists?

HI Jamie - I have a family share account, and I have the same issue on my master account. Says my account is in listening mode on another device. I have checked all devices and this is not the case. When I changed to my wifes profile there is not an issue. So it is not an issue with the software on the device but looks like a program issue. Can you please look into this for me.

Hey @Camerondb I’ve done the same maintenance to your account than in previous cases and also sent you a password reset link via email. Please click on the link and change your password (other profiles will need to login with the new password too) and login again.
