Deezer logging me out every morning


Deezer keeps logging me out and I am the main account holder

Please advise

Mine has started doing this. Not just every morning, sometimes it logs me out mid song! Only started doing this within the last 2 weeks.

Deezer Support is useless. They only have web chat and the advisors seem to be pretty clueless just saying reset password (which hasn't worked!). Also uninstalled and reinstalled the app (lost all my downloads 🙄) but it's not solved the problem. I've contacted them twice now and they haven't fixed it. 

I'm trying again today and if it's not fixed I'm going to cancel. If I find a solution I'll let you know. Good luck!

Hi @Laura.Holt @Egbert I am sorry to hear that you are having problems with the app.
Can you please let me know if you get any error message when the app logs you out or it is random? (I would appreciate if you can provide as much info as possible) 
You also said it started recently (after any update?)
Also if you can let me know if your device is Android or iPhone and which version of the Deezer app is currently installed in your phone?

Hi Jamie, I don't have an error log

It just logs me out in the mornings.

Password has been reset

Payments is up to date

App uninstalled and reinstalled, most recent app. 

Email address is correct

Using Huawei

 

Anything else?

 @Egbert  thanks for the info. Just to better understand, it only kicks you out in the morning the first time you open the app?
Would you be able to send a video reproducing the issue in order to show and explain to our developers?

No it's not only in the morning, it has happened today several times, not able to actually record it, as it doesn't happen on a specific time.

@Egbert can you please follow these few steps:

  1. Open the Deezer app ➡ Gearwheel in the top right corner ➡ Data & Storage ➡ Disk Usage ➡ click on the path link and change it to internal storage
  2. Stream a couple of tracks on Deezer and see if the app kicks you out

I'm having very same issue for a few days. I tried the suggestion, will let you know if it helps.

I've tried the suggestion a few days ago and deezer still keeps randomly logging me out. Also the playback keeps pausing every other song and it's not the Internet connection. It's so frustrating!

Same here... not sure if this is related but I 'feel' like it's mostly happening when connecting my phone to Android auto (which makes it difficult and dangerous to log back in...) But I'm not fully sure this is indeed related though.

Happens to me all the time when connecting to android auto. I'm not sure if its because I went in to the app developer function of android auto to re-install deezer when it randomly disappeared from the android auto app selection. Either way I was wondering if anyone had any updates on what to do to stop this and the playback malfunction still happening 🤔

Hey @Poetry @ldemanet a new version of the Deezer app is coming out next week. Please update to that version and let me know if the problem persists after that.

Mine has recently started this as well.  This morning it logged me out twice within 5 minutes.  This has never happened in the past, this is a recent development.  Why?

@AVXlnce as I mentioned to other users previously, there is a new version of Deezer app coming in the next days and we expect that should fix the issue after updating.

You’ve logged me out while driving AGAIN.  Went straight to Qobuz where I was NOT logged out.  I know I am not the only one having this issue.  This is just ridiculous.

Maybe you should fix issues instead of intoducing stupid features like animated video background in twitter…

Why fix things?  It’s easier to add things nobody wants.

I have had the same problem, it logged me out and i am admin for. My family, I can't log back in now as my son uses my account as a independent account and all I get is his tracks all 28 of them when I had nearly 700, plus all. My playlists gone! Won't let me log in says I use a different account when I do! This only happened today after the update! If I can't get back in to my account I'm switching to Spotify

Hey @udvaria this is a well known issue now affecting users and our devs are working on it. Because this involves a car integration, it takes a bit longer in order to reproduce and find the cause for the issue. 
We've been carrying out intense tests but have been unable to reproduce this on AA. We'll keep digging until we can sort it out.

Hey @Craig Parry I can see that in the system as you have 2 profiles with the same name and you might be logging in to your son’s profile rather than yours with all your music.
I’ve sent you a Private message with the email linked to your account so you can login again.
I understand the app logged you out as this is a problem affecting some Android users.

The problem seems to be Android Auto.  I removed AA and have not been logged out since.  It would be nice is Deezer would play nicely with others.

Removed Android Auto 3 weeks ago, haven’t been logged out since.  It seems Deezer just doesn’t play well with others.  AA, Sonos, and that’s just my personal experience.
