Deezer hifi annual subscription discount

Hi, for the last 3/4 years I have paid for an annual Deezer hifi (formally deezer elite) subscription and have had it discounted from £240 to £120 for the year. My subscription ended yesterday but there is no option for an annual hifi subscription or is it hiding somewhere? The quality is hugely different especially against Apple Music but feel £240 for the year is pretty steep!

Hi Carly, I can see that you subscribed 2 years before, but that was an introductory offer to our HiFi and we no longer have this offer, I'm afraid 🙂

It's outrageous that Deezer does not offer an annual HiFi plan. The current monthly subscription fee of $19.99 translates into $239.88/year. While this is the same price as TIDAL Hi Fi (at least for those who don't know about the Third Man Records discount), TIDAL offers MQA encoded hi res audio, whereas Deezer is limited to CD quality. And when Qobuz becomes available in the U.S., it will offer an annual hi res streaming plan for only $10 more.

Why Deezer has no interest in encouraging people to sign up for the HiFi plan, must less rewarding it's most enthusiastic supporters, is beyond my comprehension. The fair thing to do would be to offer an annual HiFi plan for $199/year.

And to make matters worse, you can only get lossless quality on the HiFi desktop app. So HiFi subscribers who also listen on their mobile devices are only getting Premium lossy qualify much of the time. All the more reason to cut the price of the HiFi subscription, either by reducing the monthly subscription fee ($14.99 would be more realistic) or offering a discounted annual subscription.

not right, you can get in many sound systems using the app in your phone. Also chromecast and desktop app. 😉

Buongiorno, ho sottoscritto il piano Deezer HiFi a 14,99 al mese con pagamento in unica soluzione di 119,88. La sottoscrizione del piano HiFi in questo caso è da intendersi annuale. Grazie
