Connection to deezer.com failed


Had internet issues with deezer since yesterday. Reinstalled it today and now cannot login.
I have reset my password 3 times and reinstalled a couple of times.

Having same issue for almost a week.
Please let us know how to resolve it.


are you using android linked to your google account? I opened my browser and cleared ALL the history in the browser and suddenly i could log into deezer again.

Same thing happening with me. I have a family account. It seems to be working for some profiles and not for others. This is really weird.

I was finally able to login.
Had tl go to my ipad account and unlink my Google account in the deezer settings.
Once i finally logged in on the app it seems to still have the same issues. Used the app today 3 times during day twice it could connect with the internet and once it didn't.

Still getting the message "connection to deezer.com failed"
I open the app on my phone, go to the flow tab and press play for flow. It just keeps showing the loading sign. Then after about 30 seconds or so i get this message. All this time the loading sign is being shown but it never plays.
Having same issue for almost a week.
Please let us know how to resolve it.

Alright so I have 6 devices connected. 3 of them are working (2 iphones, 1 android) and the other 3 are not working (2 iphones, 1 android)

Whenever I try to log in, deezer app says: "email or password incorrect" and also shows a "cant connect to deezer.com" error.

I can log in fine on the desktop app or browser. I have added an attachment to the post. For the other two people it just shows a blank white page which keeps loading constantly.

I have changed the password twice, uninstalled/installed, cleared cache & data. Just nothing seems to be working at the moment.

1 out of 10 trials goes through, otherwise, I can't search for music and it wouldn't go on the home screen.
The only thing I am having access to is my favorites.
Connecting on webpage via desktop is working though.

do what I did. Clear all browser history linked to your account (data, cookies) everything. and then try to log in again.

I have tried all suggestions above and I nothing seems to work!!! Deezer this is not good enough if we pay for a service we expect it to work. Now I can't login and listen to my music. Can you please fix this

Hi there @Emeka.N

As you've got an Android device, could you try the following steps, exactly in this order, to see if it helps with your issue?

  • make sure you're connected to a wifi network
  • uninstall Deezer
  • clean your phone's cache
  • remove the SD card
  • turn off your phone
  • reinstall Deezer
  • open Deezer and download at least one album or playlist
  • reinsert the SD card
I have this same problem.
Only on one account. Being used on a OnePlus6 device running version 9.
Connection via wifi is fine. Turning wi-fi off and relying on mobile data (strong 4g connection, all other apps working fine) causes the device to just show loading screens, and display the "unable to connect to deezer.com".

I have followed the instructions above:
  • Connected to wifi
  • uninstalled deezer
  • cleared the cache
  • (no SD card to remove on this device)
  • turned phone off and on again
  • re-installed deezer
  • downloaded an album
Problem persists.

Hi @tomby1 sorry about that. Have you tried to restart your wifi too? Do you have any blocker apps, antivirus apps etc?
Wifi has been disconnected and reconnected, Deezer works fine on WiFi, but if I'm in WiFi range I would be using a pc. It's mobile data connection that it flakes out with.
Problem persists with blocker/av disabled.

Also, on desktop pc your website help login is redirecting to setUsername?referer=token#. So I can't use the help platform on your website.
Data usage was set to wifi only for Deezer on the device (onePlus 6) itself. As you would expect none of the settings in the app indicated this.

settings > apps¬ifications > data usage control > Deezer - wifi only was set to true.

This has resolved the issue I was having. Hope this helps someone else.
