Is it possible to change 2 t-mobile subscriptions in to one family subscription and keep all the playlists and songs we saved? Thanks for the answer!

Hi @snoeischaar , if you subscribe to a Family plan with the same account (same email and password), you will no lose any of your songs. You just need to cancel your T Mobile Deezer plan first, wait until the end of the subscription, open your account from a computer and subscribe to our Family plan.

It's not possible to merge existing profiles into a Family subscription. There's one master account and inside that account you can create up to 5 additional profiles and everyone will login with the master account details.

To create an additional profile: settings > switch profile > create new profile > fill in the user details: username, gender and age and click create

To use a profile: login to the master profile > settings > switch profile > select the profile of your choice

There is a workaround that will let you "copy" a music library from a Deezer account into a newly created Family profile so you don't have to start from scratch. It will sound complicated but it's pretty simple:

Log into the Deezer account with the favorites you wish to recover and click on “My music” in order to find the "User ID" and make a note of it (it’s the number shown at the end of the URL address). Also, make sure that the profile and playlists are set to “public” (http://www.deezer.com/account/share).

You can now log out of this account and log in now to the Family account and create a new profile. After creating the profile, you can now fetch the favorites and playlists from the old account. For this, simply copy this to your browser’s address bar http://www.deezer.com/profile/XXXXXXX/playlists - Replace the XXXXXXX with the USER ID that you noted previously

To transfer a playlist not made by you, just click on it and on the blue Heart to add it to your favourites. To transfer a playlist created by you, go to that playlist and then tick the right box on top of all the titles, select + (add) and then "Add to playlist" and then "New Playlist" and name it as you wish, then "create"

Your playlist is now on the new family profile.

Repeat the process with the rest of the playlists you wish to recover.

To transfer favourite albums and artists, just click on the blue Heart on them and they will be automatically added to this new family profile 🙂
