Question

Artists on my recently played that I don't recognise

It's been about 2 weeks since I started to see them appear. I've never heard of these artists that show up on my recently played. I've never searched for them or even listened to any of their music. It's starting to become more frequent now and quite frankly I find it annoying. Can anyone offer any advice or solutions to this problem.

As a first step I'm suggesting to replace your password . Maybe someone hacked to your account ...

Thanks, I'll try that right away
Could I resurrect this. I first noticed some tracks in my playlist I don't recognise many months ago, it always seems to be the same tracks too, being '108 Die sieben Tore' (Teli 01) to (Teli 40) by Die Drei ???, (with the question marks) album 108/Die sieben Tore. I've changed my password a few times since and yesterday they have appeared again. There are no other devices assigned to my account when I look. Any ideas?

Hi there @deezerrich

I've unlinked your devices and Samsung login, and have also sent you a password reset email. Please change your password again and use your email address to login directly - also do a cache cleaning as well. Let me know if the tracks appear again.
Hi Rudi. None of what you said happened. I received no reset password via email. Once again those exact tracks (27 of them) got played again at some point between last night and this morning.

Are you not able to just see who's accessed my account?

We don't have access to it, sorry. I sent you an email for the password reset. Check it out!
I've changed my password again and STILL those tracks are appearing! They even appear in between songs that I have listened to - how can that be!?

Hey @deezerrich

Perhaps it's best if you could change your email address. For that, please visit Deezer.com from a PC/Mac and go to account settings.
I'm not being funny Rudi, but you said you had un-linked my Samsung device from my Deezer account but you hadn't. You said you'd sent me an email to reset password but you hadn't. Are you sending these things to somebody else, is there an account mix-up?? So last try from me, can you answer what I asked about earlier, and that is:

If I'm listening to some songs from an album (in this instance 25 by George Michael) how on earth is is possible for someone else to listen to tracks in-between what I'm listening to without Deezer cutting out? I can link up to 3 devices, but can only listen to any one at a time, is that not true? (see track listing)

Hi @deezerrich sorry to see you are still having these issues. You are right, your music should be cut off if someone else listens to anything in your account. I have once again unlinked the one device in your account and sent you a password reset via email. Should this not help I would recommend you get in touch with our support team, because it could be indeed an account mix up and we will have to check your details more closely. You can get in touch with support here.
