A network error occurred while checking the subscription - Family

Hi. I have a Deezer family account. My son is on my account and has selected to download songs to listen to while offline (not on Wi-Fi and he doesn't have data on his phone). Whenever he trys to use the Deezer app offline, he gets "A network error occurred while checking the subscription. The application will close." Why is this happening? It sort of defeats the purpose of listening to his downloaded songs while offline if he can't use the Deezer app. Could you tell me why this is happening?

Hi there, that's strange. What device (model, firmware version, Deezer version) does this happen on? Can you check if you have the same problem being logged in as you son on your device?

Subscription ask in a no data area

i was online on my wifi few hours ago and when i've relaunched my app at work (in a no data area) to play my offline music and it has asked to connect to check my subscription.

How can i prevent this situation? it's really painfull to not be able to use what you paid for.

just to check with you how long has it been since you've been online?

Deezer requires you to "connect" to them every 15 days for legal reasons (so they can obtain a track count to pay the artists).

i have checked everything was ok before to go. So i was connected on my wifi network a couple of hours before trying to launch the application. that made it more frustrating.

hmmm then I've no idea I'm afraid it's not something I've come across on here :(

You mention that you're not the main family account holder - could you contact them and ask them to open there deezer app (as it maybe because they've not opened it for 15 days?). Probably not but just trying anything I can think of.
for better transparancies
i'm the main account and listen music every working day on deezer (windows app) the issue appear on my wife account but it's me who have checked everything was ok before she go to the no data area.

Sorry I couldn't assist you more 😞 Hopefully she gets to access some data to just open the account and hopefully verify so it will then work 😞
yes she can use it now but need it and was blocked by a no data area even if the account was active paid and checked less than 2h before using it

Hey @WickrBoys you can’t listen to your downloaded music and favourites offline?
