Use Deezer on more than one device with Premium+

I keep having my music stopped and a message saying that my account is linked to another audio source and that I can't be listening on several devices simultaneously.
I change my account name and password but the issue remain... What can I do?

Hi there, is your account a family account or a Premium+ one? In the first case, please note that only one person can use the account at a time. You might want to check our Family subscription then 🙂
If it's already Family, please make sure that you've created a secondary profile for your sister and that she's switching to that profile before she's using Deezer 🙂

Hi @krewete1, are you using deezer on more than one device in general? I don't mean at a time but in general.
My sister shares my account but whenever we are listening to music at the same time it freezes and says someone else is using it! How can I stop it?

Been a user for some time now. Added my wife’s phone to my devices list so as she could listen to the same music as me on our Sonos systems at home.
All good for months; then I start getting messages from Deezer regarding commercial/personal use and device sharing! Today I get messages asking to subscribe to ‘family sharing’ @ £17.99 per month. Not only messages but shutting both mine and my Wife’s music streaming simultaneously!!

listening at home is personal, right?
paying £9.99 per month for listening to music over two devices is not cheap based on the likes of Netflix who charge £7.99 for unlimited video streaming over three devices with no restrictions!?

why is Deezer getting so greedy??
if I cannot use the account simultaneously without being financially penalised it’s finished for me.

Any constructive feedback welcomed.
Thank you.

Hi @Peter Mould, I'm sorry if you feel "penalized", but it's just how it works. Premium+ subscription are for 1 person only. You can open up to 3 devices, but not at the same time (same for other streaming services such as Netflix). Only our Family subscription gives access to more than 1 device at the same time. Please let us know if you need any more info about it. 😉
Can 2 people listen on different devices at same time

Hi again, Stephen. I checked your account and saw that the secondary profile, you created has not been used yet. Please make sure that you are connected to different profiles on the different devices. You can only listen to Deezer one different devices at a time, when these devices are linked to different profiles 🙂
Sorted. Other family member had logged into my profile

With a premium subscription only one person can listen at a time 🙂
