I don't know if this has been reported to whoever opened a trouble ticket. 5 days ago I finally received an email from Support Team and the problem has been escalated to the developers for a fix (hope soon).
This is the mail I received:

Hi Ciro,
We have opened a problem ticket and our developers are now working on it as you were several people to raise the issue. I am sorry it takes such a time and that we had you several times the same question, we just have to make sure we have covered all the solution before raising the problem to the developers.
Kind regards,
LorieF

For now I'm using the suggestion from EbanksMS and works. Yes is not the fix but is a good workaround (Thank you Mark). No drops out and HQ sound. This is his message a few pages back:

Hi all,
I also experienced the random split-second dropouts using Chromecast Audio via toslink to a Peachtree Nova 150. I tried multiple Android devices with differing OS' and manufactures (Oneplus, Samsung & LG) but the issue was consistent across them all.
I eventually resolved the issue using the "Cast screen/audio" option directly from the Google Home app instead of Deezer.
The concept is similar to Bluetooth where all audio is output to whatever device is selected. I had issues casting Amazon Prime Music from my Oneplus 6 and used this method to work around that issue too.
Unfortunately I'm not familiar enough with Chromecast's inner mechanisms to explain why this should make a difference but it does (for me).
BTW, this solution also allows YouTube audio via the Chromecast.

Mark

Keep finger across for a permanent fix.

Ciao a tutti,
Ciro.
Same issues. Same problems. Tried every workaround. Very frustrated. About to switch back to tidal.
+1 on the issue with the sound dropout.
+1 on unstable app and sync when casting to chromecast audio.
For one of us reporting the issue here how many hundreds users/customers not wasting their time doing so?
Hifi subscription is twice more expensive than regular one and basically useless for chromecast audiophile users right now. Deezer please take care of your most profitable customers!

Hi.

Same problems here. Dropouts every minute or two. Then, after 5-10 songs, playback stops completely and nothing works until I restart Deezer and reset my Chromecast audio. These problems hadn't been existing until some weeks ago...

Please fix this!

Thank you.
Same problem, streams for a minute and just stopes. I have to reopen Deezer and play some other track even, because trying to play the one that it freezez on doesn't work.
All battery saving options turned of for dezzer also.

Hi, same problem here with Chromecast Audio wired using optical toslink connection to my Denon amp.
This is unusable and unnaceptable. I noticed that I'm not getting this sound cuts when using a Chromecast HDMI. Considering switching to Spotify if no fix provided.

Hi everyone,
I just received an update of the Deezer app on my Android devices. Good news and bad news. I have a subscription with Deezer for Premium broadcasting 320kbps (not the HiFi). We all experienced audio drops out when using Chromecast (HiFi and Premium). However in addition to the audio drops out I was also experiencing a weird issue. When using the Chromecast icon of the app the quality of the sound dropped down to 128kbps and the HQ logo (shown on the bottom left of song/album picture) disappeared. The workaround I used was to mirror the device (Mobile phone or Tablet) using the google home app. By doing this I had no audio drops out and HQ sound works. Well, now with this App update the issue of HQ sound has been resolved, and this is the good news (at least for me). The bad news is that audio drops out still occur. Deezer is half way to the final solution 😉.

Rafael,
if you read this post, may you please pass this info to the developer team? Tx.

Hi,

no improvement with the latest update for me. This is getting annoying. I'm paying a bunch of money for Hifi and cannot enjoy it because my Chromecast doesn't work and the android-app doesn't support Hifi...

Deezer android app on Google Nexus 7 tablet does not recognise Chromecast Audio device anymore - other (non-Deezer) apps do see the Chromecast Audio and do cast successfully.

I have cast successfully for a year from my Premium account. Recently Deezer started to drop music when casting (no other services had this problem) so my Premium subscription was cancelled. I have been away 2 weeks and now the Deezer app will play to the tablet speaker but does not "see" the Chromecast Audio.

Android os is up to date & is 6.0
Google app is up to date
Google Home is up to date
Deezer Android is up to date 6.0.2.89

I also installed an earlier version Deezer 5.4.34.14 and that cannot identify the Chromecast anymore either.

Other Spotify & BBC iPlayer Radio apps continue to cast successfully.

Has Deezer stopped supporting Chromecast Audio?

Thanks
Tony

H@Tony.J I am sorry to hear that. We have other users having problems with Chromecast, drop outs etc., but you should still see the icon. Have you tried to reinstall the app? Which device are you using?

We are generally working on Chromecast with a high priority as users are experiencing many different issues.

Flo - I am using an Android tablet, a Google Nexus 7 casting to a Google Chromecast Audio (2).

I have installed 3 versions of Deezer and no Cast icon appears. 3 versions means I updated to the latest Android version 6.02, went back to an earlier 6.01, then tried an even older 5.4 which had worked previously. No success. I am back on Android v.6.02.89

I just had an idea, we cancelled my Premium subscription until the music drop-out problem is fixed. Which means I'm using a Free account. Does this Free account prevent casting?

Are you using a SD card?

No, not an external removable SD card. Just the tablet's on-board memory.

Thanks for confirming this! I will pass it on to our devs and will update this topic as soon as we have any more news about it! I'm sorry that is taking longer than we expected!
The dropouts continue as bad as ever but now I can't get HQ content to play over the Chromecast. Assuming the "HQ" tag on the album is still the indicator for that, I'm not seeing it any more on playback. Did I lose my HQ account? Is there any update on the SPIDF dropouts?

Chromecast firmware 1.36.139856
Android app version 6.0.2.89
IOS app version 6.44.1.1

Dropouts also occur without any app kickoff, just using any Google Assistant device.
Just cancelled my hifi-subscription. Not paying for something i can't use properly...
What's the status of this Chromecast Audio issue? I'm seriously considering turning back to Spotify if you can't fix this.
