For those of us who have hundreds or thousands of songs in our collections, organized in folders by artist and album, it's pretty much infeasible to upload the files one by one. I wish I could just select a whole folder and upload everything within it and its subdirectories. Since this would be a huge operation, it would be totally reasonable to only support it in the desktop apps, and not in the web interface.
