What's the difference how many devices if you only listen on one at a time?

What difference does it make if I have deezer on my laptop, desktop (virtual), and phone and desktop (real) if I only use one at a time? It is only because Deezer broke its promise to have gapless play on the web/desktop app that this is necessary anyway, I can only listen to opera on my home stereo by installing a virtual android system on my laptop/desktop machines because the mobile app has gapless play.

When searching an artist’s albums, I have to scroll through a ton of albums to get to the original releases. The compilations for JJ Johnson, for example, take up a huge space and most of those albums have the same material! Why not have a tab for compilations and one for releases?This is a screenshot of the many J.J. Johnson albums. It’s twice as long as this.This screenshot is from allmusic.com. You can see there is a tab to search compilations.

Repetitive!

One of the joys of listening to Deezer is to discover new things I haven't heard before. But the algorithm is set to play the same things.After Playing JJ Johnson's Proof Positive, 34 tracks followed. Four of them were "Laura" (from the same album) and five of them were "Turnpike" from the same album. So, almost 1/3 were the same two tracks.That has to be fixed. It is absurd.Correction!!! One more track has played and “Laura” has come on again.

I’ve been using Deezer for a few years. I’m testing Tidal for a couple of months. There are a lot of problems with it but there’s one feature that has me leaning toward it. There’s a little speaker icon that offers me three choices. I can use the system control, use s/pdif output, or use speakers/headphones IDT High definition audio codec.When I clicked s/pdif (because I have optifal audio output), the difference was extraordinary. It was at least 25% richer sound, much better bass, etc.I suggest you add that to improve sound quality.

Tidal offers a choice of output methods. Does Deezer? Am I missing something?

I’ve been using Deezer for a few years. I’m testing Tidal for a couple of months. There are a lot of problems with it but there’s one feature that has me leaning toward it. There’s a little speaker icon that offers me three choices. Tidal has a LOT of problems (no scroll bar… wow)… but the sound is as good as a cd (and I’m not using the premium Tidal service either).Has anyone got any ideas how to force this? I have s/pdif chosen as my default on my computer already but it made a difference for some reason.

Not enough original releases

Look at Betty Carter. I see two original releases out of 50 repachaged collections. All these collections have album covers by the same graphic artist (I’m an artist: I recognize personal styles). I have more Betty Carter albums in my own collection than you have heare on Deezer. What am I paying you for? Really. Here are albums I have that you don’t have.The Audience with Betty CarterNow It’s My TurnFeed The FireDroppin’ ThingsInside Betty CarterI count one out of 50 that’s a righeous original release, Ray Charles & Betty Carter.This is a dealbreaker issue. There’s something fishy here.

No gapless play on Hi-fi for Windows users

I pay for Hi-Fi and am using Windows 10. I can’t listen to a long piece of music without silence injected right in the middle of a song. That is a deal breaker for me, especially since I see that a year ago this question was addressed and dismissed as something being introduced slowly, first for iPhone users. A year later, and there is still no gapless play at your most expensive service. Windows users are 75% of the market. I can’t understand what you don’t understand about the business potential of your service. This service could be my go-to library for all listening in my house. It’s a thousands-album library that, if you could design it properly, be listened to in any way my imagination could devise.I could list a dozen problems with Deezer for Windows browser and desktop, but you’d have to pay me to be that useful to you. I’m out. I’ll check out Tidal, I guess. I think that’s the only other Hi-Fi service.Maybe, if this could get back to an administrator, they could put me on an e

Uninstalled app, reinstalled, downloaded music gone

I uninstalled a reinstalled the app. There are 102GB of music on my SD card. It’s all still there. Deezer can see it and can see where it is. But when I click “Downloaded Music” it says there’s nothing’s there. So what’s using up my SD card then? I don’t intend to reinstall all of that again. What is goind on? This shouldn’t be the case.Android, Deezer Premium

Please allow script rolling for long tracks. I can’t find the track I want. I rolls in play view on my Android device but not in script view, which is where I need it. See the pictures below.As you can see, I can’t tell one track from another.

Please roll titles for tracks with long titles

Many titles are so long I can’t tell the difference betwen them. That means I don’t know where I left off if I’m interrupted.For example:There are 14 tracks beginning "Beatrice di Tenda / Act 1: Bellini: Beatrice di Tenda / Act 1 - ..." and 11 tracks beginning "Beatrice di Tenda / Act 2: Bellini: Beatrice di Tenda / Act2..."I don't know the difference between those tracks on my phone. I get to a Act 1 (aor 2) and then they're all the same. If I rotate my phone, I can see maybe one of the 25 tracks. Please allow the title to roll on Android devices and allow mouseovers on desktop versions.

Search engine must cross-reference composers

Monteverdi was a great composer. But when I want to listen and type Monteverdi in the search bar I only get "Monteverdi Choir." You must fix your search engine to cross-reference composers. When I type in "Monteverdi," I should see everything Monteverdi ever wrote. No one can remember who played what piece by Monteverdi and there are new albums and artists playing that music all the time. It is literally impossible to know who they are.This search engine must be fixed.

Please add Release date, old to new to Release date, which is new to old. Many newly released albums are just repackaged compilations. To listen to original recordings as recorded, one has to scroll all the way down.

How many times do you have to say "do not recommend this artist" before they stop recomming them?

My question is in the title. I stayed away from Deezer for a couple of months, came back and found the same problems. Bad search engine, can’t add albums or tracks if I’m just playing one song, can’t use right click to copy and paste, still no gapless play on desktop (no opera, opera fans)… and on and on. I guess they don’t care.

Sliding scale for FLOW recommendations

Play first all favorited albums and tracks, play suggestions on a sliding scale: every other song, every ten songs, never.

Change Flow algorithm to allow user to stay within genre or skip with signals to algorithm

My Flow algorith does this: 5 country songs5 jazz songs5 fado songs5 folk songs Why not just let it play in the genre the user likes? This is indicated by not skipping forward.One skip forward does not indicate a change of genre (or two). Three can be the trigger.A skip backward indicates user dislikes those three songs but doesn’t want a change.

This feature works on the “albums” page but not in playlists. This is important so I can find out if a particular volume of a series is there.

Desktop app: keep "view" open to double or triple click sizingIn discussion

If I want to change the size to see more album tiles (I’d like to see these as a list as well bts), I have to click “view” then zoom out each time. Please leave the dialog box open so I can click more than once.

I’d like to copy and paste tracks to scop on Allmusic.com. They have valuable info on albums, reviews. But all the titles are gifs of png or something. But they’re not text. Why not clickable text? That would allow copying and pasting elsewhere.

On the desktop app, there should be an option for list view instead of tiles, and an option for ordering them alphanumerically. It’s a mess to find things.
