Why is the logo a heart? My friend thought I was using a dating app. The old logo was a great match, it was clear it was about music and recognisable. If you want to rebrand, update it. Why a heart? Look how weird this looks in a music player on my lockscreen. What is a heart doing there? Not to mention the bright purple app icon I had to remove from my homescreen because it stands out so much (in a negative way) Just do the old logo, add monet theming and bob’s your uncle.
Hi all, After the upgrade to Deezer Familiy HiFi I actually want to have the benefits of the improved audio quality. With the MP3’s it was fine to use Bluetooth to stream to my KEF LS50 Wireless speakers but now that feel somehow limiting. Unfortunately there is no convenient way of doing so. The option would basically be to plug in the USB cable to my phone with an adapter or use my laptop. I prefer to do it wirelessly, or at the very least control a wired device (such as my laptop) from the Deezer app. Ideally it would be possible to select a DLNA/UPNP renderer in the Deezer app as an output. It is kinda schocking to me that a similair request has been made OVER 4 years ago and not even the most basic form of it has been implemented, especially now that HiFi has come to many users.
Recently found out my family account supports HiFi so I went ahead and enabled it. To be sure everything is HiFi I deleted smart cache in the app, force killed the app, cleared it cache and cleared its data. Now it seems that when a track doesn’t have a HiFi version available it falls back to basic instead of HQ. I’ve made video of two phones together, showing the audio settings and displaying that when the HiFi phone falls back to basic (no Hifi or HQ logo available) the other phone set on HQ only still has the HQ logo on the album page.
Hi all, I was curious if Deezer is going to update the widgets to be more in line with Android 12 Material You. I would love a nice looking widget with good functionality (playback controls when playing, easy way to start music when nothing is playing)
Hi, So when using deezer on my OnePlus 7 Pro running Android 12 (although behavior is consistent on other devices as well) the status bar is always black whereas most apps use the fact that the status bar is transparent by extending the colour of what's being displayed in the app into the statusbar. Would love to sees this fixed. It's a small thing but a thing that makes a big difference in perceived quality experience.
I remember the days on the forum asking for a Spotify Connect like feature on Deezer. Despite those days being more than 5 years ago. And yet it still doesn't work at all. If by some miracle it works for more than 3 seconds it's still limited by simple stuff like Play Next not working but most of the time I hear maybe one second of sound coming out of the device before the client app literally gets a stroke. The host I'm trying to connect to sometimes gives this helpful pop-up: I know this sounds harsh but the problem is that Deezer is full of bugs which I normally accept since I love the UI, the sound quality, the quizzes and end of year stuff. I defended Deezer to everyone calling me crazy for not just using Spotify but issues like these and the lack of a simple bug report + log in the app is just staggering to me. Here's the video of the app dying when connect gets selected: https://youtube.com/shorts/VEsusaPwjTY?feature=share
Hi all, I cannot seem to find a changelog for the MacOS app. I want to know when it is going to be M1 optimized (not rosetta) in order to be as energy efficient as possible. Thanks@
