I'm starting to report these now as problems and I'd recommend everyone does this, too (in the web interface and album page, go to the "three dots" for this). It's a different approach to being nice and raising it here as a key improvement suggestion. If the management opt to ignore valuable suggestions, the reporting problems will force the company to react to each and every issue raised individually. Whether they fix it or not is up to them but each album we raise with them has a cost (that funding would be much better used to improve the underlying service instead of tweaking with fonts, navigation menus and the app interface, just saying...). At the same time, I've been gradually testing Spotify. Their collection and curation seems to be better controlled and thought out.
This has been discussed earlier in terms of creating a folder structure or being able to tag albums but this suggestion from Kibboets should be really straightforward to implement and would be a great first step to much better control of our personal collections.
This track is broken big time. It's supposed to be Beethoven but at the start of the track and halfway through there are completely different music or sounds. Makes one wonder how it was even produced in the first place to cause this??? https://www.deezer.com/en/track/76000683
Sigh, again! One of your new albums lacking proper credits because of the sloppy system (let's be generous and not imply it'd be the lack of willingness by management) running this service. https://www.deezer.com/en/album/87718362 The album has perfectly good data, including your lovely competitor's service. Why not in Deezer???
We've been begging for this for ages, all to deaf ears. And this certainly is without any winks or other smilies as we want to be serious about it...
Flo.Deezer, look at the album Anne-Sophie Mutter, Saito Kinen Orchestra, Seiji Ozawa, Diego Matheuz: The Tokyo Gala Concert (Deutsche Grammophon, released 1 Jan 2019, https://www.deezer.com/en/album/82874372). To put it bluntly without any niceties and sugarcoating, this is abysmal! You must do better! The publisher has all the necessary data available so it's the Deezer system that fails us. Sorry to say but that's what seems to happen. Let me google that for you to confirm it: https://www.deutschegrammophon.com/en/cat/4836746. In this case, if you had just imported the data as provided, it'd be all good. It defies logic and smacks your customers in the face that you evidently strip crucial parts of the available data when you read it into your system. The question is: what does it take from us to get Deezer to do this well, please? The best that can happen to you is a good competitor who has their act together in this. Either it shows you a model on how to do t
I will go directly with the first streaming provide that implements it! All since the begining of time I have requested from leading streaming services (Spotify, Tidal, Deezer)... Better to collect vinyl's and order them in the bookshelf.
daniellj, did you ever subscribe to Rdio? I dearly miss that service, even now, three years after it closed. Already back then it was far better than Deezer (and Spotify). It makes you think why the development of these services seems to have stalled in recent years. Perhaps they've become institutions in their own right and have no hunger any more to win the world. We need a new kid on the block... Even when Rdio didn't have the tagging or folders, it was heaps easier in finding and managing your music. The minute I hear of a service even at that three-years-back level, my wallet votes for them. :-) Some light past-time reading: https://medium.com/@bryanjclark/rdio-you-ll-be-missed-4322d2e7fbc4
Yes to this one, big time! Tagging albums and playlists would be a huge improvement. I currently have about 150 albums in my profile and already now it's starting to be off-putting to find the ones you'd want to listen now. Can't imagine what a chore it'd be with e.g. 1000 albums in the collection given how poorly especially classical music and compilations are labelled.
Anja and Flo.Deezer, where are with this, please? Have these improvements made it to the backlog, what's the priority given by the product owner(s)?
