“You need to restart your app to complete the update. Ready?”

is popping up on my desktop app no matter how many times I quit and restart the app. I had the same problem last year until it stopped out of the blue. This is really annoying. 

Why is this happening again (no change on my MacOS whatsoever, Premium subscriber) and how can I make it stop?

Hi there @StineTova 

Thanks for reaching out. Please try this:

  • Uninstall the Deezer app
  • Search for %appdata and delete any Deezer folder you may find
  • Restart your Mac
  • Download the app again and install
