Yamaha MusicCast And Deezer - Login problems


I have a Yamaha receiver RX-V683 which supports Deezer thru the Musiccast app. Sometimes it works fine but most of the time not, while logging in to Deezer using Musiccast app, i just get the message "we've encountered error in connection".

Anyone using musiccast app with Deezer?

Hi there, have you tried to disconnect the device from the network for a couple of minutes and try again? Also are there any software updates available?

i canˋt login on my Yamaha rx a. I still have the free test version of Premium+
will i be able to login with a pay account or is it any bug?

i like Deezer very much and i am thinking about buying it afterwards.
but using airplay with Yamaha is too battery intensive for long term.

i am using it in Germany.

Deezer Premium is my primary source of audio, but in the musiccasts android app I control my system with I often get an error message "Logging In, Not Available Yet" but it never logs in and I can not play music, other times it works great. The common deezer app in my phone works without any problems. I have tried to restart the mc app and it is up to date.

I just signed up for a 30 trial of deezer and tried to login on musiccast on my andrid tablet

was not recognized

I can login on my computers but not on musiccast

@Rryanisc I just merged your post into this topic. Have you tried to reset your password already? If so and it still doesn't work, what's the exact error message?
I'm using Deezer HiFi with my Yamaha RX-A3060 receiver from MusicCast app. Since yesterday I can't login to my account from MusicCast. I can logon to my account from my deezer app on my phone and my computer but for Deezer HiFi I need to use MusicCast. I tried to change the password and uninstalling and reinstalling MusicCast, also I tried to reset my receiver to factory settings but evereytime I'm trying to connect to Deezer, I get "access error - We've encountered a connection error" message. I have internet connection from my receiver and I can use MusicCast app to control my receiver and also I can hear Internet radio, but Deezer doesn't login.
I Would be very grateful if someone can help me to fix my problem.

I have exactly the same problem. I reset Deezer account password, reinstalled MusicCast, reset receiver (NT-670) to factory settings, but nothing worked. It's frustrating really.

  • Please log out from all your devices and close the app (also in the background)
  • Get a new password here -> http://www.deezer.com/password/reset
  • Delete Deezer from Yamaha
  • Turn off your Yamaha for 1-2 minutes
  • Turn back on
  • Install Deezer
  • Log back in again.

Yamaha Musiccast asked me to login Deezer so i did. It says "account successfully loged in" but nothing happenes. It stays in login screen and does not proceed to Deezer. Any idea? Thanks

Hi @depitt, usually the procedures above fixes this issue. Just to confirm, you are trying to login using the email, not google or facebook, right?

Is you musiccast fully updated?

- Delete Deezer
- Turn off your Yamaha for 1-2 minutes
- Turn back on
- Install Deezer
- Log back in again.
Hello @Rafael. Thank you for your concern. Yes, I use my email adress to login. I did exactly as it states in the procedure. I also rebooted my router, reinstalled MusicCast after clearing cache. Still, I can login to Tidal account and use NetRadio, but while logging to Deezer, I get the same message as @honzzan and yet nothing happens.
Hello, it started working. I log out myself from desktop pc app and from android mobile app. After while I was able to login in music cast. It is like Deezer server detected too much logings for one account.
I'm happy for you @honzzan, that you found your way out. Thanks for sharing. Unfortunately in my case it does not work. I have Hi-Fi subscription, but it looks like Deezer server doesn't detect me at all (via MusicCast).
It took a while after logout. About 3 minutes. But it is still possible that it was something else that cause it but I have no idea what was it.

Hello! My Yamaha RX-V485 stopped connecting to DEEZER a few days ago. In the application on the computer - fine. And in MusicCast offers to connect, but after entering the username and password says that the input is successful, but really is not. I tried instead of the password to enter an arbitrary set of characters and again the same section - says that the input is successful, but it does not enter in reality.
I changed my deezer password but when i try to use musiccast i'm never prompted for it.
As a result i cant use Deezer any more.
Has anybody found out how to reset the Deezer account in Musiccast?
(i've tried deleting and reinstalling the musiccast app with no success)
