Windows 10 App Not Working

Hi,

The Windows 10 App is no longer working on my PC. I have deleted it and reinstalled it and it just keeps loading to a blank screen.

No firewall issues either.

It's always worked before. Has there been an update? Anyone else having this problem?

Hi, i found a solution.
In my case, the solution i found in the ntfs security folders. The quicly solution is copy files of app from other PC and copy in c:/program files/windowsapp/deezer/... (Deezer have two folders).
I hope it helps others to find the solution.

Also having the same issue.

I just updated to the most recent windows 10, now deezer just opens to blank window.

I have tried re install, reset and restart for app.

Same exact problem. Blank screen, nothing works.

Hey SEADAsXs,

Your solution kind of works but you have to create a shortcut to the deezer app otherwise it keeps on showing invalid parameters when launching using the app icon from the start menu. I guess for now it is a work around.

SEADAsXs's solution appears to work but why is the app data that is being downloaded from the store broken it seems really odd. Has something changed since I installed the app on my laptop prior to my new Desktop which is where I am experiencing the issue?

I had the same issue. I have two hard drives, one SSD (primary) and a regular HDD. Given that my SSD doesn't have too much space, I set Windows to install all new apps in the HDD. Some time later, I installed Deezer from Windows Store and it didn't work. So, after reading some comments, I switched back the Windows settings to install apps in C (SSD), uninstalled Deezer and reinstalled it again and it worked perfectly.
The app just can't start to work. Deezer logo and that all. I use deezer long time ago... I need win10 app please solve my problem. BWT about 4 my friends have same problem too.

The app still isn't working for windows 10. I was just about to sign up for premium so I can get all my music on my fitbit, same as my wife. Pity I cant get spotify to work on fitbit i've had that for years and works flawlessly

Have you had a look above to see if anything helps? Since you've got our latest app, could you explain a bit more about the problem you have? Maybe you can post a screenshot as well.

I can explain the problem.

User can select in settings of Windows 10 where new apps from Store should be installed. It can be done in "Settings"->"Storage"->"Change where new content is saved",
There user can select Drive where new apps should be installed. By default it is "C" drive. But if user change it to another one, for example to "D" drive, user will face and issue with Black Screen in Deezer Win 10 application.

To fix it without update from Deezer side, user need to change settings to "C" drive(or where Windows system is installed).

But I'm still waiting when Deezer will fix it, because I prefer to store new Apps on "D" drive which has more space.



Hi, I confirm that moving the app solve the blank screen issue : I had to move the Deezer app from D : (1 TB HDD) (where the app was installed even if C drive is set as the default drive for apps) to C: (256 MB SSD) in Windows settings.
App not working for me on both drives, C and D
