why is the Deezer xbox app slow and keep crashing while playing games


Everytime I load up deezer to enjoy two of my favourite past times gaming and music the app wants to crash no matter what game I play surely this ain't what the app was intended for I've uninstalled, reinstalled I've tried everything but nothing works and it runs really slow compared to the app on other devices a fix would be awesome all my software is up to date and it's  a pretty new xbox one s. Please fix it!

I've replied to you on another topic @Richthegamer and I've forwarded your details to our devs - what's the version of our app on your Series X?

Deezer app is still crashing on Xbox s, when are you going to sort it as to be honest it's been going on far to long with no fix in sight. Will have to think of jumping ship otherwise.

No @Lee.S.D. please don't. It's in our roadmap to improve our Xbox app not only performance-wise, but Deezer features. One of our big focuses for 2021 is connectivity so we have our teams working hard in all sorts of integrations.

Yes and no @jirikovoego 

It's on our roadmap for this year, but before we know precisely when this will be done, we still need to wait a couple of months. If I hear anything back before then, I'll be sure to update the community straight away - it could be sooner than we think :thumbsup_tone2:

Same issue here, been having crashes and since my subscription start. Playlist dissapears. Only a smal fix for some periode is re-instal. Shouldn't be like that but its a thing that works.

We've been working on an update for the app for a while now, hang in there a bit longer :pray_tone2:

Seems the update is still not done i have the same issue just shuts down and stops playing. Very annoying and gets frustrating don’t want to use an other service if i can help it.

When was it release installed deezer last week so think i should have the latest version of it. When i check it say version 4.2.63.70

This happens when i game. So it just stops playing music and when i check on it in the quick menu it’s not active anymore. It does seem to happen more often with higher quality on the playback. But it does happen on all of the quality settings. Easiest way to provoke it is to play some music and go in and change the music to something else. It will then play for a short while and die.

I have the exact same Problem on the Series S. Version 4.2.65.70

Same problem here. When I'm in the app it working fine, if i enter a game it plays about minute and then just stops, when checking app its relaunching means it was completely shut down. Series x, HiFi subscription, gigabit network via cable. And xbox Hifi was the only reason i payed for deezer. And since i see same problem from ppl for more than a year i guess no one gives a funk bout that. So i just hope aplle music will come to xbox next after PlayStation. Hello and goodbye Deezer!
