Im having a similar issue on the desktop app but it plays fine through a playlist i make but when listening to "inspired by" playlists it always stops after 3 tracks like all the other posts (i think its trying to load an advert but bugs out massively) everytime this happens im forced to restart the deezer app which is fairly irritating, even allowing deezer through my firewall unrestricted has not solved it

@Edward Godding Hey Edward, so you are using the Deezer App (Windows or Mac?) and not the Browser version?

Hey @Edward Godding

I think you should try resetting your password and clearing the app's cache to see if it helps. Keep me posted!
This is still happening. I'm moving to Spotify ... sorry, but not sorry.

Sorry to hear that, @Jesús Aguirre

Could you give me more details? Is it the same as above? What's your OS?

It happend a few months ago on Windows 10 with Chrome after switching from paid to free acc. And now it still the same with macOs Mojave with Chrome.

Same problem as described by others here, after 4 or 5 songs it stops and can't resume. Need to reload page to continue playing. Aweful.

Hi @Jesús Aguirre sorry about that. Does that happen after an ad is played or just before an ad is about to play?

I just realized this is not happening with Safari stock. It works OK.
I've never heard an ad with Google Chrome (I have AdGuard Adblocker extensión installed).

So... today I've disabled the AdBlocker extension in Google Chrome and the problem persists. After 5 songs it stops working.

So, I went bank to Safari stock and the issue is there as well. I guess Deezer just don't want to work for free users.

And clearing the browser's cache doesn't help @Jesús Aguirre?

No I haven't and I won't. I don't need to know how to do that, web apps are supposed to work without users needing to do such things.

I've told you Safari is stock, meaning I've only used for Deezer.

Please don't make users work for you to fix a problem that is not theirs, this issue is in your end, not on ours.

Pay attention to this:
  • Google Chrome with or without AdBlock makes no difference.
  • First time ever I opened Deezer in Safari everything the issue did not occurs.
Hopefully you guys can fix this for us.

Hi @Jesús Aguirre I am sorry you are still having this problem. Before we look into this more closely we always try some basic trouble shooting steps like clearing the cache which is very easy to do with a few clicks. Should that not help we will take it from there. We are definitely not trying to make our users "work", but there are often steps a user can take to solve an issue which we simply can't and will save time for the user if those steps solve the problem.

We are still not able to reproduce the issue you are reporting, we kindly ask to try clearing the cache and see if that helps otherwise we will pass it on to our developers which might take a while as it does not seem to be an issue on our machines.
