Web browser stops playing music after 4-5 songs

Hello!

Have a weird bug in my Deezer. The music plays, but then it suddently stops after 4 or 5 songs. If you click to play other songs, it does not help - only the 'frozen' track is started again. If you refresh the page, it helps, but only for like a new batch of 4-5 songs, and it freezes again.

The same bug in both Chrome and Firefox. Any ideas how to fix that?

Thank you!

+1 The same problem.
I tried different browsers (firefox chrome edge), but it didn't help. I even found a topic with the same problem that was closed 3 months ago. They say the bug was fixed in that topic.

Well, at least I know that it's not only my problem. Let's wait for the team, then. Hope they will fix the bug, 'cause music listening experience is kinda ruined for now.
I can only listen to 4 songs, then the playlist stops and never plays any other song. Even, if I click on other songs, I heard the same 4th song. I cannot go back to the previously neither the next one.

If I recharge the webpage I can listen to whatever I want but only 4 songs, then the problem persists.

@k1pppuxa @Andrii.Khakhariev Hi there, I've just tested it and had no issue. Any extensions on your browser enabled?

Also does it "freeze" in the middle of a track or after the track finished playing?

Hello!

I have two extensions in Firefox: Block Site and RescueTime.

In Chrome: Google Drive extensions, Joxi, and SEO Meta.

It plays 4 or 5 songs, and when the last song is finished, it gets stuck.

I have few extensions in chrome, but I checked in incognito mode, where there are no extensions at all. In firefox and edge, there are no extensions too. So I assume the problem isn't in extensions.

Hi again guys, so it looks like you're all on the free version. Is AdBlock enabled on your browser by any chance?

If not, it looks like there's an issue with ads on browser.

@PaolaGuala sounds like this issue here :)
Have a look at your extensions and Adblocker as well 🙂

Actually, now I get the same bug after 10 songs. It seems that it is more connected to the actual play time rather than the number of songs played.
Hi everyone,
Recently signed up to the free version of Deezer. It plays 3 songs, 4 max, then stops playing. This is in playlist and album options. If I refresh or try to choose another song it won't budge. I'm using Chrome and I'm getting the same thing on 2 different computers, so I know it's not he computer at fault.

Cheers 🙂

@ROX I moved your post to this topic. We've already passed this on to our team. It must be a technical issue with ads not being playing on browser. But it'll hopefully be fixed soon!

@Tony Denga @Andrii.Khakhariev Thanks a lot for the details. Our team is looking into this. I'll let you know as soon as I have an update 🙂
I have the same problem, but I still have ads. It plays the first song, there is an ad, it plays another three songs, and then gets stuck. So I refresh the page, and start the cycle again.

It started doing it yesterday, although by the end of the day yesterday Deezer just refused to play anything at all.

Thanks for looking into this!
