Various albums constantly disappear

Hello.

 

I noticed that various albums constantly disappear after I start listening to them. If I got in time to “like” an album - it remains available for me. Artists I noticid this happening to: Kölsch, Oliver Schories, Kollektiv Turmstrasse, various classics like Samuel Barber, etc.

When you say disappearing, what do you exactly mean? Is it becoming unavailable in your country? Is it disappearing from the queue?

When I open an Artist’s page - there is no such album in albums section. I don’t know whether it’s “My country” issue or not to be honest.

It could be a bug or an issue with the artist page @Alexander Chernyaev thanks for explaining a bit more. Could you please post the links for the artist pages and let me know what device and app version you've got?

It doesn’t depend on the app or version. I use both Win10 app and iOs app, both show the same.

We've been fixing that @Alexander Chernyaev thanks for reporting it!

In the meantime, please delete the app's cache to see if it helps :thumbsup_tone2:

@Rudi, Unfortunately clearing the cache from app settings doesn’t help. The Win 10 app version I use is 4.32.20

@Rudi in my country the subscription costs less than usual. I don’t know if this can result in this issue.

It’s happening to me too: one of my favorite albums (Refazenda by Gilberto Gil) is gone. I haven’t changed countries in the meanwhile. It is indeed frustrating to know this can happen anytime to any of my music. I feel the frustration could be mitigated if there was an explanation somewhere...

No, the fact your subscription costs less doesn't have a part to play here, don't worry.

Is this only happening on the desktop app? Have you tried on web? Here on my side I can see the albums normally. Maybe there's something I'm missing, so let me know!

Hey @Thiago Gouvea sorry about that. Could you please give me more details? Is this also happening on the desktop app? Have you tried finding the album in the same artist profile, but on a different app? This could actually be a different issue than @Alexander Chernyaev

It happens in both desktop and iOS apps. So I presume the problem is not in these apps I think.

I haven’t done anything special. I did try to navigate to an anrtist’s page, go to albums section and there is no album of interest. Try to test Kollektiv Turmstrasse with some test account. Select Ukraine as your country. Probably use some VPN service to simulate ukrainian IP.

They disappeared some time ago. Look, I liked this album before it disappeared:

I am still able to listen to it when I navigate to favorite albums. But on the artist’s page it is absent.
