So, Windows desktop app was reecently updated

... that'd be great if it worked. Right after the update my av detected the app as a virus. I decided to uninstall it and install it again. After I did that I wanted to log in but I can't. I signed in with facebook and never had any problems logging in. Now, after i click on log in with facebook, it open a new tab in my web browser after which nothing happens. Sometimes a window pops up telling me I need to choose an app to contuinue but after choosing Deezer there's an error. How is it possible you broke something as simple as a login? It always worked in the past!

Hi there, is this happening with our new desktop app or did you get it from the Microsoft store? Can you tell me which version of Windows you have and which version of the app?
It's 4.0.5 and it auto-updated from the MS Store. I'm on Windows 10 ofc v.1809 if that matters.
So I just checked Microsoft Store for reviews and I found another guy who can't log in with fb so it's not just a problem on my PC. Also is it true that the Store app is now the same as a standalone desktop application? Why? Is there a way to just revert back to the old app?
Hello. I kinda have the same problem on my Windows 8.1

The deezer app opens and closes in a second, can't even open it anymore. I already tried to uninstall and reinstall dozen times

Hi @Mateusz Wojtkiewicz you are using the old Windows app, that one will not be available soon and replaced by the new one in the Microsoft store. Please bear with us and check the store once it is available.

@jumponit we are aware of this issue. Which, please keep an eye out for an update, that should fix it 😉
@Flo.Deezer I still don't get why the app was updated and broken when there's a new app coming? And when is it coming since I checked and it's not available yet?! I don't want to sound rude but as a paying customer who cannot use your service I'd appreciate the ETA on that at least.

The latest updated has already been sent to all users this week. 😉 If you are able to download playlists and albums you have already the latest version.

Hi @Mateusz Wojtkiewicz we have noticed a problem. The new app is not yet on the Microsoft store, we are very sorry about that. You will have to wait until it is available I am afraid. Which should happen over the next few days. Please keep an eye on it. There is nothing we can do at the moment.

Our devs are already investigating this issue. 😉
Aaaand still nothing. It's been 3 weeks. Great support. You broke the app and now can't be bothered to fix it. It's infuriating.

Did you already try to login with your email and password that you use on Facebook instead of using the Facebook login button?

And is your Deezer app installed on the C: drive of your computer or elsewhere? @Mateusz Wojtkiewicz
