Samsung Multiroom App Feedback: login and other issues

Hi,
I can't login to deezer via Samsung multiroom. It keeps advising the ID or password is wrong.

I've re-entered multiple times, even changed the password a couple of times, logged in and out of deezer directly using the same credentials (to prove it is correct).

Have reset the multiroom twice, uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Powered off and on my mobile twice. Still advises wrong ID or password?

Is there a known problem currently occurring?

Any new information on the login issues in the Samsung MultiRoom app?

Can’t login to deezer now for 5 years. I don’t know how slow you guys are working, but it is ridiculous.

Just tried using my Samsung multiroom for the first time since the summer and guess what…….Deezer doesn’t work on it again. 

This frequently breaks for some reason. I think Deezer need to develop a similar approach to how it works in Spotify…...

I have this problem too! I had to change my Deezer password and now can’t log in on my Samsung multiroom speaker. Is there any news on the better app integration that was mentioned in a post 10 months ago? I’ve tried all the suggestions listed in the thread but still not working.

Did all that still not working?  The all devices thing is interesting.. how do you know. TVs etc.

As we've said before the Deezer app is built in I can't be deleted. 

Ok, please still log out change password and log back in, just don’t delete the app if you can’t, but follow the other steps.

Same problem,  I cant play deezer on multiroom. Username or password incorrect but it's not. Getting really angry !!!!

 

hey, sorry to hear this, would you mind also trying these steps, please? 

  • Log out of Deezer on all devices it might be logged in
  • Get a new password for your account on this link
  • Delete Deezer from the Samsung Multiroom app (if possible) 
  • Turn off your device for 1-2 minutes
  • Turn it back on
  • Add Deezer to the Samsung Multiroom app
  • Login with your new password

Hey @potestus if you can’t delete Deezer, then follow all the other steps and skip that one! Let us know if it helps.

You don’t have the option to delete Deezer from the Samsung Multiroom app in your phone?

 

Dont know how to do point 3 the app seems built in.. can't delete Deezer from multiroom?

Hello @potestus 

Here's what you can do:

  • Log out of Deezer on all devices it might be logged in
  • Get a new password for your account on this link
  • Delete Deezer from the Samsung Multiroom app
  • Turn off your device for 1-2 minutes
  • Turn it back on
  • Add Deezer to the Samsung Multiroom app
  • Login with your new password

This should fix your issue, but please give me a shout if you need extra help,

Hi I've read all of this thread going back 2 years. My husband and I are devastated as we can't play our premium deezer on any of our Samsung multiroom WAM speakers, only on our Samsung soundboard. Looks like I will have to cancel my Deezer account then, very disappointing. Can't believe this issue can't be resolved. We like many others have tried everything, repeatedly, to no avail.

We're actually working on two Sonos projects at the moment @Arhu and one of them is to add the same connectivity support to it (without the Sonos app).

Can I be honest. I really got frustrated, so bought a sonos system but then I saw how nicely and elegantly Spotify connect really works compared to being forced to use the sonos app....

 

I returned the sonos speakers (the sound quality of the sonos one was really inferior to my wam750s too)

Looks like the problem is back again for me. Was working until yesterday. Fails to connect complaining of no internet when there plainly is as other services work just fine. Once signed out it's impossible to log back into my Deezer account.

Do you know what changed, was it an update from deezer because samsung haven't updated the multiroom app or firmware in ages

 

I just tried installing an older version of deezer and the multiroom app from around February, neither worked

We can only work with 3rd parties if their devices are capable and availability to develop something further is there.

I just got the deezer trial. Really I want to quit spotify because they’ll never fix the missing dislike button bug but I can't if this doesn't get resolved

 

edit: looks like samsung has completely abandoned the multiroom speaker line :(
