Own mp3’s on Xbox app


Hi

Should I be able to play my uploaded mp3 files on the Deezer Xbox app?

If I have added them to some playlist, I can see them in that playlist on the Xbox (the name of the track, artist, length), but I can’t start playing them. Also they are all labelled as “explicit” for some odd reason...

I’ve tried to sign out and back in to the app, but that has made no change.

Having the exact same issue, for me if there's an mp3 in the play list, the play list would not start
No comments from Deezer Support in over a week? Or does the monthly fee not include any support - just an "as-is" experience?
I have a single custom mp3 track that I like to listen to, the following problems occur on the following devices when I try to listen to it.

On Xbox One app:
  • trying to play the custom mp3 results in nothing happening
  • trying to play any song in playlist that contains the custom mp3 results in not a single song being playable from that playlist
On Windows 10 Mobile app:
  • trying to play the custom mp3 results in the app skipping the file and playing the first next song

Have you tried playing that same playlist with another device? And just to confirm, is the playlist mixed with your own MP3s and Deezer tracks?
The same playlist played fine on phone and tablet. And at least in my case, the playlist only had uploaded MP3's.

Hi @DZ8 @Owen Marks-Eden @cra0zy if you have tried all basic trouble shooting steps like reinstalling, restarting etc we will have to pass this on to our developers. Could you just confirm more technical details like exact devices and versions of the Deezer app? Please also confirm that this was not an issue before on Xbox. Thanks a lot for your patience and collaboration.

@Rudi The Windows 10 Mobile app still does not work.

The Xbox app tho works fine.
