Hi there, that is very strange. Could you please make sure that you have logged in with the correct email address in your Google Home app? Is it the email address of the account you have Premium on? Try to unlink the accounts and link it again please.

I have the same problem. In some sessions I can hear the whole songs, in some sessions only 30 seconds. Actually the email that use in deezer (I have a family subscriptions) an on google home are different, but the deezer account is correctly linked to the google account.

Hi @Ilario.Nocentini you need to use the email address of an account that has Premium at least. If you have a Premium subscription on the email address you use for Google Home, it's fine, but if you use a free account it will not work I am afraid.

Thanks for your reply.
I am a bit confused, where it is written that deezer works with Google Home ONLY if you use the same address on both systems?
When you set up Google Home you connect it with deezer, by logging into deezer web site, so I ussume that a kind of linking is created between the two accounts. Then, if you are right, I should always be able to listen to only 30 seconds, whereas this is not the case. I am normally able to listen normally to music, and the "30 seconds" problem arises only sometimes. By the way, I had the same problem with my old Philips Fidelio (always only sometimes) , and there the registration is done using a number, not the email.
For these reasons I think that there is a bug somewhere on your systems, and I appreciate if you could investigate it.
In any case, can I change my email on deezer?
Thanks, Ilario

@Flo.Deezer , some additional infos. Here is the screen shot of my Home app, where is clear that the deezer account is connected:

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1UNdDSW_cidD--ZdjqOtjzwe2DZIfh46p/view?usp=sharing

The problem normally arises after a while that I do not listen to music, for instance in the morning. If I disconnect and reconnect the Deezer account then it works properly, so I think that the email has nothing to do with the problem....

Feel free to ask for other details.

Thanks, Ilario N.

Hi @Ilario.Nocentini ok I understand now. I thought it was always playing 30 seconds only. I think you misunderstood what I said about the email address, but if that is the behaviour then you are right, the email address has nothing to do with it.

Do you get played 30 seconds of the beginning of the song or is it 30 seconds like a sample from in the middle of the song?

@Flo.Deezer, tipically it is a sample in the middle of the song.

Hi again, sorry for all the questions, but since we don't have the issue here, we need to have any many details as possible. When you say "disconnect and reconnect the Deezer account then it works properly, ", you mean after a while when you can only hear 30 seconds of tracks, you disconnect Deezer within the Google Home App? And if so, before you disconnect, does it still say "Premium" under the Deezer service in the Google Home app?

Hello @Anja
I am doing some tests and the behaviour randomly pop up.
disconnect and reconnect means exactly what you said and yes, before disconnecting it says premium in the deezer section of google. Anyway after some other tests it seems that even disconnecting and reconnecting is not always a solution. Right now I connected a new Google home device and even if it says premium I can only listen to 30 seconds music (this time the first 30 seconds of each songs....).
it is a bit annoying...
thanks for your help,

Hi @Ilario.Nocentini thanks for your reply. Our developers are aware and are working on it with high priority. Please bear with us until this is fixed. Once we have new information about this we will update you hear ;)

Sorry for the inconvenience.
Hi, just got a Google Home Mini and linked it to my deezer account with the Google Home app, but when playing music it skips to the next track after 30ish seconds, I have deezer premium and works fine on my phone and Roku

Hi there, can you please verify if you have linked the same account as you are using in your phone, the same email address? It could be that you are logge into a different account that is on free.

I get the same thing, its not even starting from the start of the song, ill double check the account stuff myself tonight.
I connected my Google mini to my Deezer premium account but when I asked to play my flow 1/ I have to open Deezer to get sound 2/ it plays each song 30s and moves to the next
I try to disconnect reconnect and nothing happens. I also changed my email at Deezer to be my Google one but no changes
Any idea why it does not work while trying to activate from the mini? Note: casting from Deezer app works but this is not the goal.

Hi guys, I'm sorry about that! Deezer is aware of this issue and is working on it. We will update this topics as soon as we have any more news about it! Sorry that has been taking longer than we expected!
Just adding that I also have the same issue - account is linked and showing as premium in Google Home but 30 second samples are all I can get to play. Will follow this thread to await an update!
Also having the same problem. Even if I use my app to cast the songs over to the Google home. I have tried to solve this by uninstalling the app and relogging in but it still plays just 30 seconds of the beginning of songs, which is getting rather annoying now. Have had the Google minis for 2 weeks and this only started yesterday so they were working ok before.

Hi @erin.loft Have you tried to relink your Deezer account in the Google Home app?

Hi Rafael - do we know when this is going to be sorted please? It seemed to start working correctly again a couple of days ago but as of this morning I'm back to the 30 second clip behaviour again. A bit frustrating to say the least! Thanks

Again the same problem, only 30 seconds taken randomly from the song. It starts to be annoying. I'd like to listennto music, not to debug a software where I pay a premium account. I understand that the problem seems unsolvable. Any if you know uf Spotify has the same problem? I like Deezer, but if the problem remains I'll consider Spotify

Hi @alisk222 @Ilario.Nocentini our developers are aware that this still happening for some users. I have added your cases to the report, they are working on this with high priority. For the moment we can only ask for some patience. We will update you here about it 😉
Hi,
I'm also having this problem. I've had a Deezer Premium account for months and have happily cast playlists from my phone's Deezer app to my Home Mini without this 30 second limit issue ever appearing until the last week or so. I've rebooted Home Mini, unlinked/relinked Home and Deezer, logged out and back into my Deezer app but the problem persists. It's particularly annoying because I have just started paying the full monthly subscription after my introductory discount offer expired (should I expect a worse service once I start paying full subscription?). Any news from developers will be much appreciated.
I have the same issue as other users. I can't believe this has been a problem with Deezer for so long! - surely there is a back-end issue - log files guys! Can I help your engineers somehow? - I'm not going to send you Pointless screens - anything else (network level) ask - just fix it!!!!!

I'm very P****D off today! ☺️
Having exactly the same issue. Can we please get it sorted? it's like having a a channel hopper constantly on the switch of a radio.

I'm having exactly the same issue for the last 2 weeks. Any sign of a resolve? This is beyond frustrating.

If you ask Google Home to play a song, sometimes it will say "Playing XXXXX from Deezer' and not play anything, other times it will jump in randomly in to a song and play approx 20 seconds before skipping.
If I search a song/playlist/etc via the app and cast to the device using mine or partners phone it works perfectly.

I currently have a Deezer HiFi subscription and had a Premium subscription up to this morning. It is the same for both.

The correct account is signed in via the Home App - this was working fine previously.
