No smart cache

I think it’s the cause of my previous issue¹. Deezer doesn’t smart cache anything. It always stays at 0 bytes:

Deezer 5.30.90 (installed from MS Store)

O.S.: Windows 11 (I upgraded recently, but the problem was already there in W10, I’m sure it has nothing to do with W11)

What I’ve tried:

  • Reinstall;
  • Delete windows Temporary Files;
  • Delete old installation files.

[1]: The reason I think it’s the root of the problem is that maybe Deezer tries hit the cache of my latest music, and when it isn’t available it goes through Deezer’s API to fetch, hence the slow statup/recognition.

Same here

Same issue on two Win 10 PCs using desktop app.

Smart cache stays at zero bytes never increases. Very slow track loading time when using hifi quality. Load times are fine using android app on same network.

Desktop app version 5.3.110

Have tried:

- Installing from both Microsoft store and direct download link.

- Deleted deezer %appdata% folder between uninstall and reinstall

- Tried running app in Win 8 compatibility mode

- Deleting smart cache using button in desktop app.
