How can I unlike songs on my deezer sub-app in my Bose soundtouch app? When playing deezer on flow it doesn't have the unlike button on soundtouch

Unfortunately there is no update on this I am afraid. Since this app is in collaboration with another company it can take some time 😕

thanks Anja, here's a couple - the menu for artist page and favourites is from the ... button which would be a good spot for a "unlike" button... appreciate your help

Ah I see, so you have to press the three dots in the left corner to add the track currently playing to your favourites?

Yes Anja so the three dots gets you to the menu to add to favourites but you can't dislike which is what I'd love to see added.....

Hi, sorry again for not getting back to you. So since this is not a bug, but just not intended, I had to create a case for a design request, which they are currently looking in to. As we are not directly designing the bose app, this can take a bit longer. So I don't have any details as of yet I'm afraid.
I noticed that you can like or dislike tracks in the Deezer flow using the soundtouch remote, which is nice, but it doesn't help me when I am streaming to my receiver using the soundtouch link.

Please find a fix in the soundtouch app. It would likely be an easy fix considering the code and functionality already exists within the app.

Hi, I use to play Jango.com, it's free and have dislike button since years ago, then I search songs and add new songs to my Deezer. Then I use Flow on my own songs..

I received an email saying this topic had been answered but it hasn't - the issue from well over a year ago is unchanged from what I can see. Any chance it can be looked at?

Thank you for your support and for your patience. We haven't had updates from Bose about this. It's a feature which can be developed by them, so it's best to contact Bose directly as they have the tools to make it happen on their side.

OK @Rudi but it took over a year to tell me to contact Bose? The alignment of Bose and Deezer was part of why I joined Deezer with my new sound system..... I would have thought you had some influence.

Unfortunately we haven't had any posts in this topic since December 2018, so it fell off the grid. Once you posted here, I was able to ask for updates and that's why we've got a response.

Any updates, on the dislike function on the Bose app?

A few general comments on the the Bose app: It is really bad. I am thinking of moving to Spotify which supports its own app. The arrangement Bose/Deezer doesn't seem to be working. It is a shame as I really like Deezer and it is a hassle to transfer to transfer playlists from one to another (but not impossible).

Features that are annoying on the Bose app: Unaccessible like button (should be on the screen, not hidden behind the '...'), lack of dislike button (thumbs down), generally slow app, frequent and intrusive updates.

And now another topic, purely related to Deezer this time - nothing to do with Bose. If I like a song (function 'thumbs up' on the remote control) that is already on my favourite list it takes it out of my favourites! I have 900 songs there - and I don't know by heart which ones are already on there or not. So first I have to check if the song I am listening to is on my favourites, and only then can I press thumbs up with the remote. If I don't check and the song was on the list... it disappears from there.

Thank you for your feedback and support. We don't develop the Bose app. But the good news is that we're working hard on making our app easier to track and stream to other devices, so the experience should improve by a big margin once we're done. Please bear with us a bit longer.

About the favourites, if they're already favourited, the heart is full, so you've got to keep an eye on that - if the heart is empty inside, that means you don't have it. If the Bose app is only showing thumbs up or down and not a heart, this is something we have no control of.

About the “thumbs up deletes my favourite track issue”... This genuinaly needs to be addressed and please do pass this on the developement team. The feature as it is now, is really user unfriendly. As you point out it is indeed possible to look at the heart on the diplay of the soundtouch 20. The soundtouch 10 thougt does not have a display - so I need to go on the app, fiddle for 40 seconds on my phone when really I just want to give a thumbs up and keep the track on my favourite.

I think you misunderstood me. We're not developing a Bose app, we can't do that. Only Bose can.

We're improving our app to discover and detect more devices, such as a speaker, so that you can stream directly from our Deezer app.

And about the thumbs up, this should be considered by Bose as well, the app you seem to be using is developed by them :thumbsup_tone2:
