Full list of favorites not showing on tv

On my phone I have 93 songs in my favorites list. On my tablet I can see the same list.
However through the app on my tv I can see only 25 songs fron that list.
Can you tell me why that is?.

Hi Irma, what's the model of your tv?
I have a Samsung UE40JU6750.
I have already tried to log of and login again to my account but there are still only 25 songs in my favorites list throught the app on my tv.

Hmm, and does the Tv show the number "25 tracks" on the list directly or is that just the number of tracks you counted displayed? Would you mind uploading a screenshot or photo of the list on the TV?

When I choose favorites I see 6 songs on my screen. With my remote control I can scroll to the right for more songs. But this is only a part of my list.If I choose one song and go to the waitinglist I see that there are only 25 songs.

My phone...

Hi again, Irma. Thanks a lot for the screenshots. Just checking with our TV team to see if that's a bug. I'll let you know as soon as I know more 🙂
I also just noticed thst the flow mixes I see on my phone are not shown on my tv app.
On my tv I only see a few. It's a pity the ones on phone are better.😔When I am at home I prefer watching via my tv because of the sound. I know chromecast is also an option but I don't understand why I don't have the same lists when using the same account? My tv is not that old.

Hi again, Irma. Not sure why there are less mixes on the TV, but I assume this limitation was implemented for a reason. But I'm happy to pass your feedback on to the Tv team too.

Hi @Anja

I have a Samsung TV (it's only 4 months old) and I've just come across the same problem, it's showing about 20-25 of my favourites which I can shuffle or scroll along but that's it??

I'm going to raise a ticket as the limit doesn't apply to my own playlists I've created under my music (e.g. I was able to get to the end of a playlist of 94 songs easily).

Please pass this on it's not right.

I've raised a ticket with tech support #3876496
Did you solve this? I have the same problem, not sure how you raise a ticket

I believe that the smart TV apps are due to be updated in hopefully the near future.
I am having the exact same problem on my Samsung TV (UE55MU7000LXXN. Short explanation of the problem: On my TV, the favorites list only goes till 25. On all my other devices, it shows the full favorites list.
My TV software is up-to-date and I am running Deezer version 1.0.25, which is the newest version available.
Now, since this problem/bug has been reported more than a year ago and nothing has been done to solve it, I wonder whether it is going to be fixed in the future. I am going to assume it isn't going to get fixed anytime soon, or at all.
I am hoping it will be fixed this month or the next. If that isn't the case, I am switching to Spotify, because on Spotify you can see your full list of favorites and overall, the Spotify is just better in many ways.
**Message for Deezer developers: If you arr not goong to fix this very simple problem/bug, you are going to lose customers. There is no good reason for this simple function to not be working properly, as the same function is working on Spotify**

Hi @M I N E

I'm still hopeful that the tv apps are to be updated soon - @Rudi do you have an update on this?
@Rob Igo I wish I was that possitive, but after more than a year without a fix, I am not confident that it will be resolved.
I really like Deezer on my Android phone, but it sucks on my TV. Sorry for being a bit blunt.
I have been a premium for member for some years now and I have seen changes which were good to be implemented. But I also saw that there are many bugs/problems on certain types of devices (mostly Smart TV's) which aren't solved fast enough, or haven't been solved at all.
But I am giving them the oppertunity to get this problem (favorites list capped to 25 songs) for another month or two. After that, I am making the switch to Spotify.
(Don't get me wrong, I don't want to switch to Spotify because I am used to using Deezer, but I want full functionality on all of my devices, not only on my Phone and PC and Laptop)

Hi there @Rob Igo @M I N E

It's been quite some time, yes. But that's why we've hired a dedicated team to work solely on our TV app. We hope to have more updates before the end of this year, but as we speak, I'm aware they're continuously working on it.
To be honest, I find that pretty unprofessional. The fact that you've just hired a dedicated team to work solely on the TV app. That should've been done when It launched. It's not like it's a free app.
I pay €9,99 a month for this. And I expect something in return for that, obviously.
And waiting more than a year before a fix is rolled out for some basic function in the Deezer app for TV just doesn't feel like a premium streaming service.
So, I would suggest making this your highest priority. Fixing bugs should always be a high priority in my opinion, especially bugs that prevent users to use full functionality. It shouldn't be so hard to fix.

Thank you for your honest feedback @M I N E
You're right, fixing issues should always come first. When I mentioned the dedicated team, was to say we have developers who only work on the TV app (and nothing else), in order to deliver a better service. So I'll be passing your feedback on to the right teams and hopefully we can get it going. I'm sorry I was unable to give you a more satisfactory answer.

Same issue here on an LG tv.

Ik have to agree with MINE. Such a big flaw in such a basic function is just poor programming and even worse testing.

Honestly this app feels more like someone build it in 2 weekends in some spare time and published it without testing.   For the cost of service i expect more. Especially since the issue seems tot exist for quite a while.

Maybe find a better team, or  take a long hard look at processes and existing workflows. Also usability could be better. Most tv's are not really running the best hardware and the slow bloated interface is not really efficiënt.

Hi there @Nathan123

Sorry for the experience you've had. I'll be passing your comments to the team in charge of this. Thank you for your patience.

Same issue here. I've got an LG Smart TV and it only shows a small part of my tracks. It's really bothersome, I love deezer and being able to display lyrics, but what's the point if only 25 tracks show on the smart TV app? Please do something as soon as possible, I'm a HiFi user too.

Thanks for reporting @Sergio Soto Leiva. As Rob correctly pointed out, we're behind on this one. But it's being worked on :thumbsup_tone2:
