@karina.santos take a look at my reply above, it's a known issue at the moment that it's being worked on, so we'll keep this topic updated. Also, if you don't feel comfortable writing in english, don't worry, you can write in spanish on our spanish subforum 🙂
cant play next track even if it shows different name the same track keeps going
have to reload the page everytime i want to play a different track

@Ana. Since you have identified that is a know issue with free accounts, I hope you recognize that Deezer's free users like myself, who may have been considering upgrading their subscriptions to become premium (paid) users, are closely watching how Deezer responds to this problem, and how quickly Deezer resolves this problem.

Carsten

The same thing also happens to me, I tried to fix the problem with the solutions they gave, but none of them worked for me.🤔
Does any one else have the issue where you can't switch songs unless you refresh the page and then choose the other song?

If I select another song to play during or after a song currently playing it just replays the first song over and over.....

Why is this happening?

Also can you get songs to automatically play somehow?

Thanks!

I can promise you that our developers are already looking into it and are working on it 🙂 And we will let you know as soon as we have news 🙂

@amrsaad Please check here 🙂 We're working on it and will keep you posted 🙂
I had the same issue a while back. These methods worked for me. Hope it helps you guys too.

  1. Turn off Tracking Protection if that is set to always on. You can do that from privacy settings.
  2. If that didn't work try using a private tab with tracking protection off. My guess is that an add-on is interfering with the app.
I use Firefox, version Quantum.

Thanks for the tip, @HipHapLion 🙂

Has anyone tried it successfully?

I turned the Do-Not-Track flag on to see if that makes a difference. (it was off before)
After a quick test on my chrome browser, deezer works with or without the DNT flag.
And on my CEF App, deezer still get's stuck (while it does not send a DNT flag).

@Atomic thanks for the update. I'll pass this on to the developers as every info helps 🙂

Well, Do Not Track is disabled by default in Chrome, I enabled that and Deezer start working properly again, but this comes with a few problems:
  1. Do Not Track setting in Chrome is for all sites, I can't enable it for Deezer alone
  2. I do want sites to track me, it comes with bonuses and I got nothing to hide
  3. Deezer probably updated their scripts to be more aggressive with free users, and this is what caused this issue to start with. That being said, Deezer deserve to have Adblock enabled to teach them a lesson 🙂
Btw, this solution is not bullet proof, Deezer did show the same problem occasionally afterwards, but I can't reproduce it.

I take that back, it only worked once, now it's broken again. So long Deezer 👎🏼

@karina.santos Thank you for contributing to this topic. Sadly, it seems that Deezer is unable or unwilling to resolve this problem for free accounts.

@ctendler1 you seem to believe that the issue is not being resolve because it's only affecting free accounts? That is not the case and, if you take a look around the community, there are also other issues going on and they are all being looked into and worked on but some problems take longer than others to be solved.

We do not discriminate against paid x free users and how quickly this will be resolved is something that depends on the work of our developers and how long it takes to identify causes and find solutions.

All we can do is pass on your feedback and push them for solutions, but you can be sure that something would never be overlooked just because it's affecting only free accounts.

So thank you for you patience while the team works on it and we'll keep you guys updated when there are any news 🙂

@Ana. Thank you Ana for your response and explanation. OK, we'll be patient and look forward to receiving your positive news...hopefully soon.
Not sure what is happening but for the past few weeks my deezer is not functioning properly ... when I select "flow" it plays one song and then stops - if I try go into a playlist it does the same thing. Reloading the page doesn't help either! *feeling frustrated

@Ana. In light of your feedback yesterday regarding my comments about the problem only affecting free accounts, I find the observation shared by @HipHapLion to be most revealing:

"Deezer probably updated their scripts to be more aggressive with free users, and this is what caused this issue to start with."

Which adds credibility to the concerns I have expressed, that this problem may in fact stem from Deezer purposefully targeting free users to push them towards paid subscriptions. Heads up everyone @karina.santos @CarstenW @dmitry.plohotnyuk @Sherry @Ayman AlAnsari @Atomic @amrsaad @Am-S @HipHapLion @Anja (and everyone else) who have been following this and the other threads regarding this problem! This is now taking a serious turn for the worse!

I'll end this reply with another significant quote from @HipHapLion:

So long Deezer 👎🏼

Exact exact same thing for me! Thought I was going crazy lol! Phew!

Oh well... moving to another platform then. Buh-bye Deezer. I liked you alot when I discovered you. Meh.
Select my playlist... plays a couple of songs, then dies and doesn't start up again.
I have the same issue since early january or late december (> 2 months..)

It is really annoying.

90% of times, it stops. However, if an advertisement starts, a queue can be read for a quite long time. Than after a random number of songs, advertisements, it stops again... It seems simply related toa bug in the advertisement program.

There are 2 actions that seem to help : passing the mouse over the player... (did the job 2 times in 2 months, i.e. many fails)..

I also tried to unfreeze the player using the keyboard commands : it unlocked the ad ! Please give it a try..
I typed ctrl+shift+right Arrow.
Good day,
For a week now there has been a problem with my deezer account. It only plays one song before stopping and refuses to continue beyond that. Logging in again after logging out, refreshing my page and using a different browser does not seem to solve the problem. Could you please estimate when the problem would be fixed?
Having the same issue, i.e. playback stops after one track, need reload to play another. While waiting for the fix I have found that using a private tab in firefox is a workaround. Hope it helps someone!
