[FIXED] Music stops after playing one song on browser

To whom it may concern

I use Deezer's excellent streaming on my Mozilla browser. Unfortunately, the last week I have experienced that the music stops after playing one song from my playlist and only comes back when I refresh the page or close the browser and I re-enter the account.

Can you help me solve the issue?

I am using Firefox Mozilla to access Deezer. Unfortunately, the music stops after playing one song.
Can you kindly advise me what to do?

Looking forward hearing from you.

The site does not switch music tracks. I tried to reinstall windows and browsers, but the problem is not solved.

When listening to an album, the songs do not continuously play. This means for example, when I select an album, then click on Listen, the first song on the album will play, but the second song does not play automatically. I have to refresh the page, and then select the next song, and then repeat this for each song thereafter. Note, this is only a recent occurrence. Previously (several weeks ago), when I selected an album and clicked on Listen, the entire album would play, one song after another. Can anyone suggest how I can resolve the current problem?

I have the same problem, I've tried with both Chrome and Firefox, cleared the cookies and cache with no luck.

I'm having the same exact problem and another user has also reported the same problem. Can one the Deezer geniuses please look into this issue and update us as soon as possible? BTW, I am also using Firefox, but tried on Google Chrome and continued to have the same problem.

Hi there, are you using the "New Firefox aduio player" (Labs) on Deezer? If so, are there any extension enabled in your browser?

@dmitry.plohotnyuk I moved your topic to this existing one, as you seem to have the same issue. What Windows version and what browser are you using? Have you tried alternative browsers already?

I tried to use such browsers:
Opera - 51.0.2830.34
Google Chrome - 63.0.3239.132

OS - Windows 7 Ultimate

Anja - I have tried on both Firefox and Google Chrome. The problem is the same on both browsers.

BTW Anja, yes the new Firefox audio player is activated. Again, I would point out that I have not changed any settings...the problem did not exist a week or so ago. This just started in the last few days.

@dmitry.plohotnyuk - when did you first notice the problem? This may help us identify if the problem is a result of a software issue on Deezer's end.

Anja - review the problem @CarstenW reported and note that he also indicated the problem started about one week ago, also using Mozilla Firefox. @Ayman AlAnsari is also having the same problem using Firefox (and Chrome). In my opinion, this clearly indicates the problem is from Deezer's end!

How is Deezer planning to address and resolve quickly??

Ad blocking is disabled. Antivirus, firewall also tried to turn off. The problem remains the same.
This problem was discovered a week ago.

Having the same issue as described by the fellow music fans above. Also started about a week ago..

Only difference is, I'm having it on my own media center app I created for deezer, using CEF.
Which encapsulates the chromium engine, the same one as used in chrome itself.
Strangely enough I'm not having the issue on chrome though.

So whoever it may help, try checking if you have the HTML5 player option active in your settings. As I noticed this as the first major difference.
I also have the same problem. Is there anything being done to solve this problem ?
Hi Anja, I am experiencing this same issue on my Chrome desktop browser..kindly assist

Since you are using a free account, please make sure that AdBlock is disabled on Deezer. Does that help?

Ad blocking is disabled. Tried different browsers and flash players. What else can you advise?

We're all glad to hear you're "on it" Anja, but with so many people experiencing what I would now categorize as a system-wide problem, I really hope that you have escalated the issue to the attention of Deezer's software programmers, and that a resolution which meets with the complete satisfaction (i.e., continuous playing of track after track) of all users, is implemented sooner than later.

Thank you!

@ituajude I moved your comment to this topic so I don't loose it 🙂 I'm on it and in touch with the tech team. Will let you know as soon as I know more 🙂
Hello guys, I write from Chile and I want to tell you that there are days when the deezer page works badly, the songs do not play one after another and I have to update to change the song. Why does this happen? Can they fix it?

Regards,

apologies for my translator's english

Hi everyone at the moment there is a know issue with free accounts playing only one song on web browser and then stopping. It's already being investigated by the tech team and it should be fixed. Disabling adblocker seems to help in some cases, so give that a try.

If you this is happening to you and you have an active subscription and/or is using Deezer somewhere other than the browser, let us know and we'll look into it. We will keep this topic updated when we have any progress.
