Error when switching between two songs

When I am listening to music using the mac os X Deezer App on the latest version of Mac os X Catalina. No matter if I listen an album or a flow, when the player switch from one song to another, I always the same error : “ An error occured, please try again later.”

I have tried to uninstall and install again the software but the problem is still happening…

Can you please help?

Thanks for reaching out. Sorry this has happened.

To be honest, it was happening to me as well, when I was using the desktop app here in the Deezer office. Same OS, Catalina. I learned that by going back to the previous song and then moving forward, the track would play.

But obviously, that's no workaround. So what I've done was downloading an app uninstaller for Mac (I use a free one called AppCleaner). I dragged the Deezer app into it and selected all the files related to it. I restarted my Mac and installed our latest desktop app, 4.18.40. And voilà, problem solved :wink:

I have several folders of different genres of music.  Some work ok but, for instance, when I play my "Instrumental" folder Deezer continually plays tracks which I've never heard of and never selected.  I'm not referring to sponsored tracks, by the way. Frustrating!!
