Hi, I downloaded 2 weeks ago all my playlists and started to notice that it’s can’t be the HIFI quality I was promised and somehow the music I downloaded sounds bad so today I deleted everything while I was listening to one of the songs and just when the deletion ended there was a little “hickup” and the music turned to be much much greater than the download!!! there’s no option for chosing in which quality to download so I think it’s downloading on 320kbs.

I’d love to hear from you Deezer… That’s not right!!

The button is on the left side menu, after Explore @Yossi

The app should update automatically, yes. But do please keep me posted.

Remember to fully uninstall the current app, restart the computer, and then install the new one :thumbsup_tone2:

Hey @Yossi

Thanks for reaching out to us.

Have you checked the audio quality settings on the player? You need to have storage space and those settings set to HiFi in order to download the music in the same format.

Also, what version of our app have you got? We're happy to help you move forward with this :thumbsup_tone2:

Hi,

I have checked it of course and I have the latest version. I always check that also.

Thanks for coming back @Yossi is that 4.27? If yes, could please post the link for the tracks which aren't downloading in HiFi?

It could be that the downloaded content is buggy and something we can actually fix for the next version of the desktop app.

I would really like to tell you but there's no way of knowing from inside the app. I installed it when I subscribed to Deezer 2-3 months ago directly from Deezer's site and never received an update notification.

There are many bugs and there's almost no option to give feedback... I have to go here for every little thing it's tiring.

ALL the songs that I've downloaded came out to be mp3. After I deleted everything then the lossless quality came back. Haevn's album for example.

Thank you for your help Rudi :)

This HIFI service is really a bless!! :)

Thank you @Yossi

The app has a button to 'report a problem' but I'm also happy to help you with bug reporting here :thumbsup_tone2:

Click on Deezer on the top menu, then About. That should give you the app version.

If you downloaded 2/3 months ago, it's likely to be an outdated version - we release updates quite frequently. Try fully uninstalling it, restarting your computer and reinstalling from here: https://www.deezer.com/en/download

Keep us posted :relaxed:

Where is this button is located?

Anyway I'll go try what you suggested now and let you know. Does the app supposed to update automatically or gives you an update notification? I didn't get neither.

I’ll try to download a few songs tomorrow and check again. I’ll let you know :)
