Desktop app won't launch after successful login

I launch the app, it asks me to login -

That opens a Safari browser window, my user credentials are recognised, it says ‘success’

...yet I remain at the login or sign up screen for the app.

 

I tried logging out; I uninstalled app and reinstalled, still nothing.

From a browser, I can run Deezer, so no account issue.

iMac is running Big Sur OS 11.4

Does it prompt the window to confirm the authorisation to open the app Deezer?

Did you try twice in a row (with reload)?

Yes, several times in a row. Until I had a number of Safari browser tabs open, all telling me I’d successfully logged in, yet the app was still at the login/register state

This is quite odd, but I've seen it around here @brum_taffy thanks for reporting in detail!

Could you try to delete the Deezer folder from searching %appdata, after you uninstall it?

Then download the app and reinstall it, after restarting your Mac. Let's see if it works.
