Hi there!
I am very happy to hear that now we can download favorite tracks on PC using the desktop app. But I couldn't find a setting, which allows to choose which disk I would like to use for downloaded tracks. Can you help me with this issue?

Hi there, I am afraid it is not possible to chose where the files will be stored. it will be stored on the drive where you have the app installed, but you are not able to change that.

That’s sad, since you can’t even choose where you install the app. So, it’s always a System drive now, which is often short on free space on many devices.

I’d like to have the option to choose where the data for offline playing would be stored. This shouldn’t be much of an issue since tracks are encrypted anyway and electron supports accessing filesystem.

It would be extra nice to have the option to choose folder where to store this audio cache for offline.

Thanks you for that interesting and elaborated feedback @STeeL835. I will be passing your comment to the development team, and I will get back to you as soon as I have an answer from them

Have a nice week!

Hello @STeeL835, after checking with the team, it is technically possible to do so but it might interfere with the application’s performance. We have however taken your comment into consideration, this is something we might work on in the future. Keep an eye on the ideas forum

Cheers!
