The list below doesn't include Audiolab devices so I guess it doesn't supported . However I can't tell for sure :

Have bought an Audiolab 6000N Play streamer. It supports Deezer, but it’s not clear if it supports Deezer Hifi specifically. Audiolab is not listed on the Deezer compatible devices, even though it does work
s on Deezer Premium. Confused. Anyone know if it’s worth me upgrading to Hifi?

Hey @antfosfosant

Thank you for your input. You're right, the Audiolab website says that it supports Deezer, but this isn't officially supported on our website. Before giving you an answer, I'll report it to our team to see if we're aware of this and if it can play HiFi with our subscription. I'll let you know once I get an update but also please do keep an eye on https://www.deezer.com/en/devices/soundsystems
Thanks - look forward to hearing. And will keep an eye on link

Hi @Rudi

Did you manage to find out if the Audiolab implementation supports HiFi?

Thanks!

Hey @eschatologist71

Nice speaking to you again!

Here's the thing, the device uses our public API, so for it to fully support HiFi, Audiolab needs to work on it and then ask Deezer for support along the way if needed, for testing purposes.

But it's not all doom and gloom. Alternatively, we're further developing our public API this year, so that it comes with more Deezer features straight from the box! So I guess depending on what gets completed first, one way or another this is on the radar.

For the time being, all I can do is to sincerely thank you for your support along the way :pray_tone2:

Hi @Rudi , thanks for the updates…. lets see what happens from all of these guys I guess… I’m always slightly surprised at manufacturer reticence to support as many platforms as possible; after all, why exclude some?! Ah well.. like I say, lets see what happens!

In all honesty, I think this happens in most tech companies if not all @eschatologist71 adding a feature means development hours and that equals money. Sometimes it's just a prioritisation thing, and other music giants out there probably represent better value because they're bigger and more famous, let's say.

I honestly can't wait for our new public API. The integrations will look and feel like our app, and everyone will be happy. It's just plenty of work at the moment.
