Deezer Desktop App - Login problems and No internet connection error message

Hi,

Have a problem with MacOS app login, have changed password  couple of days ago, login to web and IOS app successful without any issue but, when I try to login from MacOS app getting notification “Your details are incorrect. Please try again”. have tried with Windows 10 app, have the same issue, but uninstall and re-install the app has solved the issue, but on Mac it didn’t helped.

Have changed password one more time but without success.

 

Any idea or suggestions?

I have the same issue and I am very surprised to see that deezer didn’t solve this issue for more than a month!

Most of you probably know this already but just in case: this technical issue has been fixed with the Deezer Desktop App version 4.18.50 Please update your Deezer Desktop App if you’re still experience any complications.

Please let us know if you need any further help.

Steps

  1. Start Deezer app
  2. Use email login with same credentials that I just logged into the webpage

Expected: Login

Actual: Your details are incorrect. Please try again.

Note: The same credentials work in the app and I use Lastpass so the password is definitely correct.

Hi @JustinL we are sorry to hear you are still experiencing this technical issue. Could you please install Deezer Desktop App version 4.18.50 and make sure you are not using a proxy server. Please let us know how it goes :slight_smile:

Hi there @JustinL 

We're also releasing a new version of the app very soon - hopefully, it'll then work for you.

But in the meantime, have you tried restarting your router to see if it helps?
